You can hear the air sounding like liquid/mass. The faster you go, the more air acts like a liquid than gas.
I always wondered about this. I can clearly hear the wind like in this video while doing 190 mph on the R1

Technically it isn’t it’s just driving. Other sports don’t have mechanized vehicles as their equipment lol
However still enjoy f1 but wouldn’t consider it a sport per say there’s nothing athletic about it

This has really given me a new respect for F1 drivers and their talent.
Please make more of these driver’s eyes videos. Most I’ve seen in the past were warmup laps, but this one was amazing. You really could tell Yuki was sending it and it gave a really good idea how fast these incredible machines can go

This just shows the great speed these cars get to it’s scary in a way
What is even scarier is knowing the drivers go that fast with this "can't see shit" FoV. Especially now that the halo's bar sits right in the middle of their sightline.

Nice going. That is one very good car. Beautiful turn in and grip and balance on the exit. Must be nearly a 50:50 in balance car. Being driven well too of course. It takes a good driver to show off how good a car is.

This video has given me an even higher level of respect and admiration for Formula 1.
On TV things sometimes look so smooth, some turns don't seem as fast, some races can feel more boring, some overtakes can look easy, etcetera. Sometimes! Many other times it's great.
Yet at the end of the day, when you watch videos like these and hear the sound of the air being cut, when you feel the power, of it, you can even feel the fear you would feel in that situation. In the end they are people driving and competing at more than 200mph in a solid metal box, having to avoid the walls and other drivers.
Formula 1 is amazing.

without having watched an f1 car from this angle, i would have never felt that the speed was so high. I mean i know that an f1 car isn't a very fast road car but still, IT GOES SO FAST
