VERY EVIL PERSON FROM ILLUMINATI well, Gelael only makes me say “bruh”. Guy literally broke his back racing. Nissan y has time to grow and develop and there’s plenty of other great series. Look at guys who didn’t do so well in F1 but are crushing it in Indy.
He deserves to be there because he did well. I don’t think he’s as bad as people make out. He clearly isn’t the best but certainly not the worst out there.
That pass on Ghiotto showed that Nissany has some kind race intelligence. Or it showed that Ghiotto hasn't, depends who you ask

The way Tsunoda dominates his teammates is unbelievable. He scored all the points last year for the mediocre Jenzer Motorsport, and he is literally obliterating Daruvala this year.
You have to admit that Mick's starts are really good. From p7 to p4 and then p3. Good job Mick

@@rv32mc Kvyat has a lower ceiling to develop as a driver. If Pierre does well this season and maybe next season, he could be back in the senior team

@The Exterminating Angel I wouldn't say that. Mick has been also unluckier than Ilott and Robert, and they are pretty much as fast each other. And Mick has A LOT more marketing value compared to Robert and Ilott. Schumacher once again in a Ferrari or at least in formula 1 would be legendary.

Everyone underrates him it's annoying. He's very good but unlucky, he had a very slow pitstop and still finished on the podium

If Mick didn't have some unlucky races with engine issues or track issues, he would had surely been up to the top 3. Plus his car is not one of the top cars in my opinion.

But again Ilott could have been further ahead if he hadn’t stalled, then spun in Britain. And Tsunoda could have been in second if his radio worked in Austria. So it does go both ways

The penalty was fair, great drive of Yuki, and Nikitia shows again that he will be the next Magnusen.
Indeed, in lap 20, Mazepin closed the door. It was rough but fair, as Tsunoda was not alongside him. But in lap 24, Mazepin was beaten and pushed Tsunoda out to keep the lead. That's were he made a fault.

Still a young driver, this seems a bit harsh. He's proved himself to be a very good driver overall
@@Papersheepp He has talent, but his behaviour in and out the car aren't right, his moves are very dangerous ( if there had been grass or gravel Yuki would be out of the race) and out of the car have made some unsportsmanlike actions like punch Illot.
He could keep the inside line into the next right hander too! I think it was doable but ofc I'm not a pro driver xD

Nissany really surprised me this race, reverse grid pole for him as well. I was also super impressed with Vips hoping in the car and on his first race outing jumping from 22nd to 11th (made up 10 positions in less than 10 laps, before pit stops, IIRC), he really deserves a full time seat in this series.
Tsunoda is defo on track for that Alpha tauri seat next season.

Separate words on the MP collision. I know there was no malice or anything... but I think that's Nobuharu's error I'm afraid. He just squeezed Felipe a fraction too much and wasn't quite fully ahead. It's really brought the team back down again after such a great weekend last time in Spain.

This championship fight is really good. I said before this weekend that it was between Ilott and Shwartzman. But Tsunoda has other ideas, certainly. I’m so excited to see how it plays out from here. Also, I was very impressed with Juri Vips that he made the progress that he did. Why hasn’t he been with DAMS along here? They’d be in a much better position in the teams standings that way. But I will say, despite the fact I really don’t like Gelael, that I wish him a speedy recovery. I would never want nasty injuries to happen to anybody.
Vips was supposed to race in Japan this season but due to the pandemic that is on hold. He's been brought as a more than competent replacement and will probably race in F2 next year unless Japan lightens it's restrictions and Red Bull sends him there again.

In respectful, professional racing, you can squeeze, but not force off track. In both cases Mazepin was a dirty sore loser. He couldve guven space and taken the position back on the next right hander, but nooo, he had to make driving impossible for his competitor.

Tom Bardsley problem with that is contact in any situation could mean end of race. Puncture, wing damage, big bounce of the track like Nassany had. You need to be able to expect your fellow racing driver to adhere to basic racing etiquette

he's grown so much since last year. He could run for the win this year, but if he doesn't I think he'd be better for him to stay one year more in F2 to keep growing and win that championship before going to F1. Even though it would be cool to see him in F1 soon.

Some lovely tributes to Hubert. Great to see Correa there to show his respect and I wish him all the best. I think the penalty was absolutely correct. He drove him off the circuit and you just can't do that. Right call from the stewards.
Glad Mazepin got that 5sec penalty for pushing another driver off the track when they are side by side, just because you are on the inside doesn't mean you can ignore the presence of the other cars you're battling. Hated that rule in FIA races as it kills battles before they can fully develop and hopefully this sets the precident going forward.
Completely agree , if he didnt get a penalty all drivers would just defend the inside line run a little wide.
