Yes, I think originally, they distinguished by spelling it toilette (and the French word for cologne-not perfume, was eau de toilette. I'm old enough to remember seeing bottles with that on the label at my grandmother's)
I paused it and read the whole ad and I love how it never actually says HOW the Toilet Mask makes your skin look better, younger, etc., it just makes a lot of claims with nothing to back them up.
i'm indian and my mother told me that everyone in her little town used to say toilet for getting ready in the morning too! not sure if it applies all across the country or if it just continued in our native region though
