At the beginning of her career okay yes there is a coherent string but since 4 it’s a different style each time. Even her singing style changed often. And everyone has to keep in mind she has done it all. House/dance is kind of the last genre she didn’t done before 😂😂

House is an offshoot of disco. When synthesizers became more portable people of lower incomes made songs emulating disco tracks. Many people at the time wanted to make disco songs but they could not afford the instruments, producing equipment and studios that would typically go in a disco song like violins and various horns. DJ Frankie Knuckles is considered the pioneer of house.

Beyoncé like every other massive artist has a group of writers that she works with. Law states that even if she's in the room she gets credited for the writing even if she didn't write it or added just one word or one lick. So a person isn't a true writer of a song unless she's the only person that's listed as the writer. Beyoncé like many other artists is a casual contributor to her songs. Let's be real

But beyonce is known to be extremely involved in all her art from the music writing and production to performing. Producers and writers have all said she's super detailed and a perfectionist. So no she doesn't just stand in a room and get credit. For her performances, she's extremely detailed about choreography, outfits, singing, camera work and even the lighting. She's an actual artist.
