idk if i’m biased or what but ITS A BEAUTIFUL MV AND SONG. i have to close my eyes just to listen to it, just have it sink in and absorb my body. his voice is so peaceful.

In my opinion one of his most beautiful vocal preferences is his girl crush cover live from the BBC im not a singer or a vocal coach but from what other ppl have said it's one of his best vocal performances so I would rlly recommend if u want to see more of him singing 💕

@@tamaradavis2276 it’s not a requirement to be a “good” fan or something. Not everyone goes hard on fangirling over some artist or band. You can just enjoy their music and still be a fan. You don’t have to know all personal stuff etc

as the famous tumblr post said "he just trauma dumped on us with a funky beat"/jk but this is an absolute masterpiece look at the lyrics they are very deep and also the song is very addictive i have been listening to this on repeat(in a playlist ofc need to keep up the streams) since it came out

HAHA harry's eyes aren't actually blue they're green! he made them blue for the video because he plays on the matrix analogy of the blue and red pill!

@@kathyford8728 To me (and others), they looked artificially made blue especially because of the way I interpreted the music video, but that's just a theory! Maybe Harry will talk about it in upcoming interviews !

Some shades of green eyes can read blue in the right light, but Harry’s eyes are so aggressively green I feel like they would have just been a brighter green if they weren’t covered by contacts. It also makes sense to change them for the video concept like you said :)
@@kyliefewell6010 oh yeah, the red in the costumes and set would have made his green eyes pop too, so if blue eyes were part of the concept then contacts definitely make sense.
Harry has hazel eyes, I believe. In different lighting can look really blue or green.

He has that light sound in the song Fine Line. I think the softness has to do with the subject matter. It's actually a sad lyric set to happy upbeat music. He did the same thing in Golden. I love the song and video. I think the lyrics are better than some of his songs like Watermelon sugar which is very catchy but very repetitive so his songwriting has improved too. I can't wait for the album.
also in Meet Me in the Hallway and From the Dining Table, his albums are incredibleeeee

Also you're talking as if wms is te first song he wrote, like did u listen to anything he wrote before that , his writing has been always good. Even back to 1d the few lyrically good songs are written by harry.

You should definitely check out more of his albums and react to his new album Harry's House when it comes out! Also fun fact - the colouring of the music video is extra exposed/saturated, so his eyes look really blue (his eyes are actually green irl)

If you haven't heard his albums and mainly the hits, you're missing out on the best of Harry. Songs like She, Canyon Moon, and Kiwi are some of my highlights if you want more positive, Meet Me in the Hallway and Cherry are great sadder songs

As a hardcore Harry fan you’re so right about the vocals. It actually took me a few listens to get into this song because it was so different
I love that Harry doesn’t limit himself to any one genre. He does whatever he feels- pop, rock, some kinda folky stuff, retro 70’s & 80’s vibes, whatever! & he does it all well!

He is extremely creative and goes into detail , he has been my favourite artist since 1D and seeing him being able to finally be himself is so beautiful and nice to see💞

It was recorded in his friends living room. Also he is British and northern so his ”you know” would sound just as you showed. Go listen to Canyon Moon from his second album, It’s got a lot of range vocally.

This song is a new refreshing sound from harry and I'm not mad about it the sounds of the synth gives an 80s vibe and with the flow of the video an his contemporary little dancey dance it's amazing ..
Fellow casual Harry Styles enjoyer here. I agree he is singing softer than Watermelon Sugar, but I wouldn't say it's unusual for him. He does similar techniques in "Golden" and "Sunflower". Just an observation, you could always review them and tell me if I'm wrong.

One of my favorite things about Harry's music is that every song is very distinct. Like he tries so many different things where as some artists find their sound and all their songs just kinda start to mess together and all sound similar. But he just seems so willing and excited to try new sounds and evolve.

His vocal technique in this song reminds me of the technique he used in his songs Lights Up and Fine Line. They both have a lighter sound and they’re more airy. Both of those songs were on his last album
