  • 10 Whitest Countries NOT in Europe.
Today I am going to tell you about the 10 countries with the highest percentage of white residents outside of Europe. I am sure some will surprise you.
After our black-and-white series, I had a lot of requests to do the same thing for countries. I did a little research and decided to go with the whitest countries outside of Europe and Scandinavia. I have to throw that Scandinavia part in there because some people don’t consider Norway, Sweden, and Finland part of Europe. They are part of Europe but some people scour CZcams videos for anything they consider a mistake and try and turn it into their gotcha moment of the day.
Now, what are white people and where are they now? We have used people of European origin to define the term “white” in this video. White obviously isn’t a race even though it is a race choice when you apply to be the night cook and boxing coach at Waffle House.

The one from Brazil wasn’t really surprising to me. The country is probably the most diverse country in the world. I’m remember when I was living a Mexico doing a volunteer work with other foreigners, there was 15 Brazilians in my group and I remember the other volunteers from other countries were always so impressed that every single one of those Brazilians looked completely different. You had, black, white, mixed, asian descendants and etc. With all types of hair, eyes colors, skin tones and etc.

The history of our country is very rich. After Portugal arrived here, countries like Holland, Spain and France also had a presence in our territory, Brazil also received many slaves who came from Africa. When Napoleon was spreading terror in Europe, the Portuguese royal family came to live in Brazil, many Portuguese came together. Then, in the immigration waves we had, many Italians, Germans, Japanese, more Portuguese, Austrians and Chinese also came here en masse. In more recent waves many Lebanese have come as well. In fact, in Brazil there are more Lebanese than in Lebanon itself (which is bizarre).
Our country is a great mix of peoples!!

The reality in Brazil is that not only Europeans migrated to Brazil during the great wars as mentioned. There were waves of migration before that and acctually even before the most known big migration waves: Italians, Japanese, Polish and some others. Even before those, there were eventually Portuguese aristocrats that moved to Brazil every year and then to help to occupy the territory or to make a better life. In the nineteenth century, race was often determined as much by your ancient ancestry as by your physical appearance. "Racial" maps of that era look strange to us because many places outside Europe were labeled "Caucasoid," while some places in Europe were not. (Of course, I'm not even taking into account maps that showed the USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand to be "naturally" white.) The entire northern half of India often got color-coded "Aryan" along with most of Europe because Hindi is an Indo-EUROPEAN language; it was thought that northern Indians were "Melanochroi," or dark-skinned Caucasians. By contrast, Finland (which is in Scandinavia) and Hungary were labeled "Mongoloid" because Finnish and Hungarian are non-Indo-European languages that ultimately originated in northern Asia; of course, the slightly slanted eyes and somewhat yellow complexions of a substantial number of those peoples also placed them outside the "Caucasoid" category.
Since then, DNA analysis has rendered the above thinking obsolete. Many people in India do have some ancient genetic markers from Europe, but they also have unique markers that justify assigning them to their own racial category much of the time. Hungarians, meanwhile, are now classed as fully European because centuries of mixing with Germanic and Slavic peoples has eliminated any Asian genetic markers they once had, the occasional slanted eyes notwithstanding. All that said, Finland and the Baltic states are some of the most genetically homogeneous countries in the world today, being the only location of Y-chromosome DNA haplogroup N, which means that it's possible to speak of a unique "Baltic" race. And Roma (Gypsies) are still more genetically Indian than they are European, even though they no longer live in India at all. Human biology is weird.

If you have lunch in the food court at the University of Toronto--Scarborough, you will find yourself among a sea of Asian faces. Social factors also play a role. California is a historically segregated state, despite never having slavery and only a little institutionalized "Jim Crow." For the most part, due partly to suburbanization and partly due to vast tracts of land that allowed different groups of people to isolate themselves, different types of Californians used to remain aloof from each other; even the Christian and Jewish "Anglo" populations in Los Angeles refused to mix for many years. Some of this social homogenization can still be seen. The rather "nerdy" movie club I belong to, which meets at one of the local Starbuck's (a stereotypically Caucasian place if ever there was one), is disproportionately white by California standards, with just one Japanese-American and two Chicano brothers who are fair-skinned enough to "pass."

That is a mistake that many make, it is the opposite for the Second World War, many Argentines went to help their countries during the World War, that is, many of them returned to Europe. The massive immigration from Europe was received in the years 1870 to 1930 when Argentina was famous for liberalism and the delivery of land to Anglo-Saxon citizens so that they could make the country grow more since the Anglo-Saxon culture was different from that of the South, such as Spain or Italy. That is why so much whiteness, industrialization made the liberals in Argentina disclose immigration to Europe, prioritizing the English and Germans. But as always happens, more come those who are in crisis, which was Italy and Spain. but despite them, thanks to the Anglo-Saxon immigration to Argentina, it became a world power, then due to the massive Italian immigration to Argentina, it became what Italy was under Mussolini and became a small socialist Italy and little by little the country began to be destroyed. country. to the fact that today there is too much indigenous immigration as it happens to the United States and the descendants of Europeans are leaving which the white population is decreasing and the country became an Italy with the usual problems became a country insecure as are countries with a large number of indigenous descendants such as Mexico, Bolivia or Central America.

8:50 the "Roo-away" spray jibe was hilarious, I love it. A better one the Aussies keep telling the tourists is the drop-bear koala story, where killer koala bears hide in the trees, drop onto unsuspecting people who walk below them, land on their heads and attack them. Complete BS, of course, but it always give the locals a kick telling it, especially when they know most tourists honestly believe the place is full of dangerous animals.
