I don't get this idea of winning a moral victory just for being gritty and tough enough to stay standing during a beating. The guy doesn't block his face, and doesn't move out of the way from strikes. There's nothing AMAZING about Kris, being tough doesn't get you contender fights, and he was literally used to boost the star power of a guy who is pretty disliked. Wow, your a stepping stone. What a moral victory

I'm not gonna lie, and nothing but respect to the spider but I feel like Israel really took it easy on Anderson. Like not VERY easy but he definetely didn't go for the finish at times he could have. Still an amazing fight tho

I remember watching the Hardy V St Pierre fight and seeing Hardy pretend to yawn as Georges cranked that kimura. Damn.

Honorable mention? James Krause taking a fight one weight class up on one day’s notice against Trevin Giles. I’m still salty he lost the split decision, I scored it for him

“Save this random fight night that needs saving” I thought the same. Maybe he shoulda used his last fight on a pay per view last minute replacement instead of just a fight night that no one watched
