The referee really let Holly down in that fight. Two obvious late shots particularly the last one.
Was one of the greatest mistakes in a championship fight in terms of ref screwing up.
Yep should have been a point deduction and it get worse when the champ vacated the title afterwards

Cro cop did actually compete in the ufc after those losses. He fought gonzaga in 2015 at ufc fight night gonzaga vs cro cop 2
The only time he'd compete in the UFC again. It was a disappointing run all things considered, but it ended on a high note at least.

Yep, and ironically won the fight with elbows, something he thought should not be allowed (they weren’t in Pride and most Japanese promotions).
Conor holding up 2 divisions while training to fight Mayweather was ultimately the reason he was stripped of the 145 title prior to Holloway v Pettis resulting in Aldo being promoted from interim to undisputed champ again.........just saying
