I am wondering whether you are more inclined to get severely hurt by a low life scumbag than a pro fighter. The lawsuits waiting are severe if a pro fighters actions result in severe injuries, I don´t know though, just a thought.
I thought about this because I witnessed a known Danish boxer get attacked and after one punch he simply restrained the other guy until the police arrived but he did say that after the "encounter", he was afraid of the consequences.

The bas ruttan ine at the end reminded me of going to Germany with my squadron when I was in the military. One of the guys I served with as a pro mma fighter. We went out drinking one night and on the way back to base on the train someone from one of the other companies decided he wanted to start shit, unaware that my friend was a professional fighter. My friend kept trying to de-esculate the situation. But the more he tried calming the situation, the more bold the other guy got. Right before it came to blows, the other guys team leader realized what was happening, ran over pulling the guy away and yelling at him "you dumb-ass! He's a professional fighter, he'll kill you."
