Do the lights only work when you have two batteries installed? I can't seem to get it to run off of just one battery. Also with two large NPF batteries will it automatically use them both or do I have to hit the switch? Last question... how long will the lights run?
1- Yes, it requires two batteries to work because of the amperage it needs. 2- the batteries are drained simultaneously. 3- the light will run depending on what batteries you have, how much you spent on them regarding the quality of its cells, it’s age and the size. To calculate how long a light will run on a brand new battery: Most Sony batteries are 48 watt-hour batteries. The GVM 1000D panel is 45 watts. Divide the 48 watt hour battery with the 45 watts of this panel. 48/45= 1 hour, 6 minutes at 100% blast. At 50% will be 2 hours, 12 minutes.

That’s correct. The 1000D f stop you saw was F11.1 (11). As for power, keep in mind these panels are 40watts (800D) and 45 watts (1000D). I have two lights and I am trying to set one light green and the other to yellow and I can’t change them they end up changing the same color.
You need to put light A to a different channel an the B to another. All that stuff should be in the video...
Will the GVM LED soft box (that states works with 800/560/480 panels) also work with these 1000D panels ?
The GVM 1000-D measures 10” wide. To attach those soft boxes, you’ll need to remove its barn doors and will block about 10% of the 1000D’s LEDs, assuming the current soft boxes you have is designed to fit 800D panel sizes.
@@ArtVideoProductions I was thinking of these from GVM, do you think they could fit the 1000D ? www.gvmled.com/collections/softbox/products/gvm-softbox-for-480ls-560as-800drgb-series-led-lights-11-x-11
will this fit in the D-Fuse defuser? the defuser says it has a 11.5 x 11.5 opening. will the 1200d fit in this defuser?
It will with a little squeeze. The light knobs get in the way a little. I have this diffuser. It fits somehow
can you tell me which batteries you used for the lights?
I just added the link for that battery in the description for you.
Is the R50R288 a replacement for the 50RS? And can the new line communicate with the older line like the 50RS and 800D
Yes, the R50R and the 1200D. I just reviewed the 1200D today, posted.
The R50R288 will work with the WIFI lights using the App, and keep in mind the 1200D is a Bluetooth unit and will only work with the 1000D as they are both Bluetooth, including the “slave” mode. So if you’re planning to buy the 1000D you can use the 1200D together operating them and mix / App and Master-Slave. You can’t mix WiFi with Bluetooth lights on App or slave mode..
@@ArtVideoProductions I wonder why the replacement for the 50RS didn’t get the face lift to Bluetooth and OLED
At 18:30 you never showed us using multipleights at the same time, what’s it like if you had 4 on Bluetooth can you control them individually easily? Or 3 and 1 separate
@@Cironezone my bad. I realized after I uploaded LOL. I believe you can control up to 16 lights at once, making sure they are on the SAME channel. And keep in mind that WIFI GVM lights will NOT work with Bluetooth GVM lights. The App is different and so is the circuitry when controlling via Master / Slave.
Btween this GVM 1000D and neewer 660 bi-color which one is brighter?
I would definitely check this out. The GVM 1500D. It’s not only the brightest panel of this types, but also the most accurate in color as you change the brightness. It’s a few bucks more but worth it! czcams.com/video/D0UK0v35ITM/video.html
@@ArtVideoProductions would the 1200D be closer to the 1500D?
@@jean_pierre247 I sold my 1200D after I got the 1500. Strongly suggesting.. Get the 1500D. And it’s also beautiful and WIDE. Link is in the description btw.
@@ArtVideoProductions is the 1300d close to the 1500d?
@@jean_pierre247 I’d get the 1500 man…
I notice you are not controlling each unit individually. Let's see you control three units on the App individually.
A 33 minute long video, loaded with micro details on everything. If I didn’t show controlling the lights individually, it’s because it’s simply not possible. You can only log in 1 light at a time, then set the rest as slave.
