- The Company Heroes are amongst the best looking Space Marines Games Workshop has ever created and they sent them to me early to work my Contrast+ magic on them. After much umming and ahhhing I decided it was time to do some Ultramarines as I haven't done any for AGES.
I was not disappointed by the outcome and I think they look absolutely incredible!

There are few things in the world I can watch for eternity: how galaxies float, how sun rising and how Warhipster paint his minis!
These models are epic! Lovely work as always.
You did Ultramarines this time! They look incredible.
Hey bro, another great vid found it really helpful. Thanks
Sencillamente, increible. Tu manera de pintar me tiene hipnotizado, no puedo dejar de ver el vídeo hasta el final.
So you're saying replace asurmen blue with baal red, and 1:1 ultramarines blue/contrast medium with blood angels red/contrast medium for the armour, then replace blood angels red with warp lightning and gauss blaster green for the eye lenses. Got it. Thank you! ❤
Lmao. You know how to have a good time!
This is it Chief.
I followed your advice and it’s made my space marines much better!
+1 attack and +1 strength on the charge too.
Some of them have become a bit blood thirsty and uncontrollable though 🤔

Did the same thing, but now some of them don’t calm down and ramble on about some dead dude
I love that all your models always look amazing
thanks tthat you painted them as ultramarines
veteran colors on the shoulder trim are actually supposed to be white, but great gob! i have never seen anything so close to the box art before!
Lovely stuff.
awesome job! and love the intro music:)
so cool!love it!
They look amazing. Which colours would you recommend for a slightly lighter blue?
Great Video! Although I do have a question, when are you going to do a video on Hammerhal Ghyra?
Do you use a wet or a regular dry/plastic palette for your mixes and paints? (That I can see aren’t coming straight from the pot)
Please could you do the terminators as space wolves when you get them?
How would this be in Dark Angels colours? Considering the two Sternguard Veterans compared to the other three that are clearly Greenwing.
In the lore the Dark Angels don’t possess sternguard, and I doubt that’ll change, regardless of Bladeguard being Deathwing when they’d be 3rd (they’re not even sword brethren ((1st company)) for the Black Templars, they’re normal marines). I’d put money the reason Deathwing decals were present for basic infantry in Leviathan was for what I’ll mention below.
They have “company veterans”. If you’re doing “lore accurate painting”, sternguard *are* greenwing - they’re 3rd Company. ie green armor, bone robes.
However, our old supplement mentions Deathwing veterans that get seconded to another company fight in green power armor with their left shoulder being bone and bearing the Deathwing icon and the right bearing their temporary squad marking.
That wouldn’t make sense here for Company Heroes. It’s a company command squad with missing units, and Deathwing don’t stay seconded to another company, let alone the command staff.
TLDR - sternguard are greenwing. To answer the question bluntly, the entire box here would be greenwing.
Man I wouldn't dare use contrast paints without painting in sub-assemblies.
FOR ULTRAMAR
any clue if one could give me a paint list? of all those he mentions in this vid?
Description. All listed and brushes
