“Paints used:”
None, he willed it to look that good!
Have been loving your Stormcast tutorials recently, has helped getting me pumped for getting my own Skaventide box! I've been having trouble thought with getting metallics to apply on smoothly, was wondering if you had any hints or tips? x_x Do you usually thin them a little bit more than regular paints?
Love, this, which colours would you use if you wanted to paint it in either red or purple?
Great job, just wanna ask how would you guys paint Skaven? Like normal skin colours and then picking the fur?
I still cant wrap my head around the difference between Contrast Medium and Lahmian Medium? Aren't they both the same thing?
They do a similar thing but they do it very differently. Picture a contrast paint and then picture like… I guess water. Contrast paint tends to be a bit goopy right? There’s two different pigments in there that are lighter and heavier. That’s how you get the 2 tone thing going on. Well Contrast Medium is the same. When you add it to contrast paint what you get is more Contrast Paint but a weaker colour.
Lahmian Medium on the other hand doesn’t thin the pigments seperately it thins it all at once so what that does is it makes it more runny rather than more contrast paint. So what Lahmian Medium does is it improves the flow much more than Contrast Medium does as it makes it more familiar like adding a shade or something like that. Does that sort of make sense?
I liked this video before it ran to 00:01
The "paint used" list in the video seems wrong, I think it's a copy paste from the Skaven Warlock Engineer one. The correct one is in the description
The Paints used list in the Video is incorrect and the correct paints list is in fact in the description. I've blurred it out to help with an confusion!
