      www.panoramicclean.com/gallery.html I have several before/after photos here. Although looking at them, I need to replace the last one. It was a house wash only when I took those photos, but I just went back and cleaned that roof about 2 weeks ago so they could take photos to post online to sell their house. They had 3 people schedule viewings in the first 45 minutes after it went online. People drastically under-value how much more attractive a house is when it is for sale and the subliminal effect a clean roof has versus a dirty roof. Almost every roof I clean for someone putting their house on the market has sold very quickly. It's nothing magic about me, it is just people do not understand how much benefit a clean roof is when it comes to selling a house.

    • @panoramicclean3956
      @panoramicclean3956 Před 4 lety +1

      @@geoff8865 Roof cleaning does slow down during the cooler months, but you can still fill the gaps with house washing and flatwork. You just need to do some marketing campaigns to get your company name out so people know you're available. Do EDDM in the same neighborhood a couple of times a year, and also hit multiple neighborhoods. Like this video said, a well made flyer will land in someone's drawer and when they need you, they will have you on hand and give you a call. Branch out and look for parking decks or gas stations to clean as well. If you have the proper degreasers and good pressure washers (8 GPM or even two 8 GPM combined) you can get fair business cleaning these commercial areas. Get some professional training from SoftWash Systems in Florida though. There are many laws and things to be aware of when working on commercial properties that very seldom pop up in residential cleaning.

    I’m a roofing contractor and bought the Little Giant Hyperlite Sumostance extension ladder. It is by far the best investment I’ve made in safety. There are outriggers that not only level the ladder on any terrain but also widens the base by about 3-4’. It is expensive, but you only cry once. Trust me it’s worth it.

    • @mid-southsoftwashllc
      @mid-southsoftwashllc Před 2 lety

      Looked it up. Seems like an amazing ladder. You said you only cry once…. Does it matter how long?? That thing is expensive! 😂😂 and idea if a stabilizer could be added to the top?? Looks like it wouldn’t be necessary

    • @jasonsmithroofing
      @jasonsmithroofing Před 2 lety +1

      @@mid-southsoftwashllc haha yeah it’s expensive but it’s been a life saver for the past year that I’ve used it. No need for a stand-off at the top unless you want one to stay off the gutters. The fact that you can set this ladder up in locations that you couldn’t set others in has saved me a lot of time. I just know it’ll fit wherever I need it and it’ll be stable.
      I will say this tho… that ladder creaks like hell! Very noisy as you climb up. It’s the sound of the fiberglass flexing. Not like it’ll break, but sure sounds like it. That’s my only negative against it. I really wish there was an aluminum version of it.
      I actually bought two other little giants. The King Kombo 8’-17’ A frame / extension and the 6’ - 10’ version. Both are super useful, lightweight and have a wider stance. Definitely recommend those.

    • @mid-southsoftwashllc
      @mid-southsoftwashllc Před 2 lety

      @@jasonsmithroofing man that would definitely scare me a little! Lol. As expensive as it is, I would think it would be one of the most stable and secure ladders in the market. You don’t get creaking when using other fiberglass ladders. Is it super light like they say?

    • @jasonsmithroofing
      @jasonsmithroofing Před 2 lety +1

      @@mid-southsoftwashllc it’s light for what it is…I guess. Supposedly 65 lbs for the 28’ I think. Still a beast to move around if you need to navigate around trees and such. But yeah the thinner fiberglass makes it a lot more flexible.

    hi I usually remove the moss with a brush and blow the ceiling and clean the gutters and put moss kiler powder on top .. .. to do your step I would have to first do everything I usually do skipping the step of applying the powder and then apply the soft wash method?

    What did you do to rinse the roof. Did you just use your rinse hose for it? If you were doing from the ground/ladder, how would you make sure your sprayer far for rinsing.

    The wand you are pre wetting with is it running from your pump or is it the pressure from the house? Didn’t know if it’s ran from your truck or house? Looks like it’s got good pressure...

    So do you make a database on your PC or laptop of the pictures before and after for each property? Or do you simply snap photos of the potential damaged plants etc before hand and send a text to owner, then delete.
