    We spray roofs for moss lichen and mould but I don’t think we would get on those old style concrete tile roofs either them being so brittle, one service we do provide after the roof is clean is a silicone coating to help with porosity of those types of tiles

      Ali Elder Yes, you could use a brush with fan jets is quite good, especially if you want to agitate the surface a bit. But the spray nozzle from DA Components that I use is especially designed to foam up the solution as you spray.😃👍🏼

    I guess it also depend depends what angle you hold the scraper. looks good

    I know we wouldn't watch you do this straight through. But it would be nice to know how long it did take you to scrape that much moss and debris off.
    I also like the two scraper design. With the the depression blades a little longer it looks to make getting into the crevices easier.

    I moved in to my bungalow a short while ago and decided to clean my roof. I am against using any biocide treatment, that's just me, but I did do it in the height of the sun last year which was a mistake in itself, a beautiful sun tan on my head anyway. I found a wire brush and duct taped it to the end of a paint roller extending handle. It did a great job compared to the finish achieved in the video and it's been absolutely clear for the last 9 months but I do not suffer from any tree debris like this owner and with it being my own property and me being an idle layabout pensioner I could afford to take my time.

    • @aemackintosh
      @aemackintosh  Před 2 lety +1

      Thanks. Biocide won’t harm the surface at all, it just reacts with organic growth. So just be careful how you apply it, wear ppe, and don’t spray it on surrounding areas.👍🏼
