So, they still get marks for catching it. Seems like they might have a court watcher on staff as a producer already.

So, lets understand some things. He's on a warrant for driving while suspended. He's to appear because of another driving while suspended. He's not in court for these, but at a 'medical' appointment (I'm sure the court set a date with him to appear). AND, drum roll please..... he's hand holding his phone, talking to the court, WHILE driving on two suspensions, and NOT in court. AND, the PD wants an adjournment?? The DAs must be laughing. I feel that 'jail education time' applies here.
Not only driving while suspended, but actually using a mobile while driving suspended. On the plus side, at least he didn't do the whole "I'm not driving, I'm traveling" thing

I'm surprised the other two defendants who have also attended court while driving with a suspended license months earlier didn't go viral. One of them, the court case was IN REGARDS TO the license suspension. And one of them even continued to argue with the judge, not understanding what she did wrong. At least it eventually clicked for this guy how bad he fucked up.
Reality as far as Corey Harris understands: He spent 2 days in jail, and now he is free. Hopefully the prosecutor filed an additional "driving while suspended" charge, since the proof was in the court. I hope the prosecutor can do that, and knows how to do that, without a police report.
They need to amend the charge to two counts of driving while suspended and one count of driving while dumb as a bag of hammers.
