- Motor craft HUB182 replaced on a Ford Edge. The Hub Assembly part number is BT4Z 1104 B. This is the rear wheel hub assembly. The edge in this video is a 2011 Ford Edge Limited with FWD.. The rear hub on the drivers side was growling and it was time to replace it. This replacement is more of a battle of rust and will power.

Man you picked the perfect vehicle for content. I'm forever working on my edge
Good video. Try doing the AWD. What a piece of work Ford came up with there...
All you need is remove dust shield use the rotor threaded hole in the old hub run a longer bolt threw and a metal block and you can push it right out .
Thanks for the tips. Took a few hours of pounding. Had to use mapp gas so it took a while longer
Thank you for " adding in " about the awd, solid mate!
Heating the bearing makes it expand making it stick harder. If you heat the wrong thing , yes you will have issues getting things apart.
One trick that can work for this is dual air hammers, spinning the bearing back and forth. Takes two people, heat and penetrating fluid as well.
Informative as usual Bill..
Thanks for another helpful video 👍🏻
Evidently people are scared shitless to make a video of replacing the drivers side rear cv axle on a 06-10 awd ford edge. Absolutely no information anywhere.
Is this the same for the front wheel drive on a 2007?
Anti-seize is my friend to. I use it also where the spindle shaft goes though the bearing, and I mix anti-seize and Greece together to lube up my caliper slider pins also.
38210 Hub Removal Kit for Dodge,,, try this next time...
This task is principally applied for all of the Ford vehicles or is this universal process that can be used on any vehicle your repairing requiring wheel bearing hub removal ?
That looked like a real tough job. What would that cost in a shop? Good job!
Hi, I'm Elias from Brazil, Sorry to post here to your channel. And I have a problem with my ford edge 2013 that no one will find the defect. she walks the straight but appears the message CHECK AWD. and when I pivot the rear wheels seem to be braking, it locks to the point of holding the car.
What tool is that your using to pry out bearing there is it a slide hammer thats used to pull dents out ????
are the hub assy. hub182 the same for front and back for my 2011 ford edge?
I got this all wheel drive piece of shit MKX what the fuck on this piece of shit the axles in the way
I'd like the video to be shorter...
