Replacing your worn bearing or hub with a quality TRQ part is a safe, smart, decision. This video shows you how to do the replacement yourself on your 2007-14 Ford Edge.

    Just for clarity, the 2011-2014 is different from the 2007-2010. This must be the newer version, since there’s no drum e-brake or goofy Torx hub retaining bots.

  • @pt68picaso
    @pt68picaso Před 2 lety +7

    Portion removing the hub at 3:23 you'd be pounding that until it was simply putty for something in a rust belt and still not have removed it without heat, oxy acetylene torch. 2012 Ford Edge left rear just did.

  • @ohger1
    @ohger1 Před 2 lety +4

    I read one of those bolts behind the hub is almost impossible to get without a special torx tool. Some of them have torx fasteners instead of the 15 mm bolt.. Is that correct? EDIT this must be later version. There's no tone ring on the axle either.

    Ford 4WD Edges have some bad designs as PTU DRIVE TRAIN goes can't change the fluid on them unless u drill and tap drain and fill holes...they say it's not serviceable but it fails when the fluid goes bad and tears up the unit
