- Abandoned Outback Steakhouse - Boardman, OH. It would appear that this location closed in November of 2019. I could be wrong as it could have closed in November of 2018 or earlier. But one thing that is nice to know is, rather going out of business, this Outback Steakhouse location relocated to a new building right across the highway. I'm not sure why. I feel as if it lacks character and aesthetics although the new building is obviously modernized. Me being someone that doesnt always like change, I would feel more welcomed to this older location as it has a better and more welcoming look to it as well as better aesthetics and colors in my opinion. Anyway, glad to know that they relocated and that hopefully everyone that worked in this building were able to keep their jobs.

It looks like they went down under.
The building they moved into now was a carrabba's Italian grill
I always like the older Outback Steakhouse buildings with their uniqueness. Wonder if there’s still any bloomin onions in there
They completely remodeled the building across the street before they moved. Haven’t been in the new one at all. And y’all must’ve gone to hot heads right after this, cause i saw y’all walk in while i was waiting on my food! ☺️
That kmart closed more like 2014 or 15. Worked at the RI behind the outback for 20 years. Outback was there in 1996 ish. Loved their food. Went to that kmart on a weekly bases it seemed.
The one that’s 15 min from me closed June 20th. They are dropping like flies due to Longhorn and Texas Roadhouse plus COVID.
Wallie, if you see doors with no handles, there're emergency doors with alarms.
Older outback buildings look so much better. Their blooming onion seems like that it’s an meal in itself as big as those are.
There was supposed to be a crab restaurant moving in but they must have backed out. That was built in 1994. I think outback is downsizing a little bit. They moved across the street to the old carrabas and before that it was chichis
The Cuyahoga falls outback turned into a crab place
Kmart Man this one was supposed to be crab dujour
@@TerryAllan1975 oh did not know
@HoneySiegalSurvivor ?
I took my mom to the new Outback across the street for her birthday 🎂
They also closed the old Outback in Akron and built a new one across the street in Akron
I seriously appreciate that with including us in the intro. I don’t know how I missed that. It’s the beer lol
Also the Hunt for food continues
Oh by the way great video!! I love your videos!! It's me the guy who can't stop watching them and everytime a video comes out I watch it LOL
Thanks for the video Walliie and Kayla
I lived on the East side of Youngstown for the majority of my life. Moved to Boardman and my car was stolen. Be careful and don’t listen to the comments saying Youngstown isn’t safe because crime is everywhere
Was just watching your kmart video! Great vid on this!
Reminds me of Cracker Barrel with the porch
That was pretty cool video thank for sharing
Good video wallie!
Awesome video man
His search for food once again has been shafted... 😔 oh well
Another awesome video. I've been to Australia and maybe the classic Outback designs are for the coastal Australian cities like Caines. I was there and saw buildings like this.
The closest Outback to me in Secaucus was built into the design of the Courtyatd by Marriott. Like Outback but don't like ticky tacky bland square box design
Awesome video Wallie
@WallieB26 Awesome video!!!!!!!
Nice video I can't believe that was your first one u ever have done have a good day
I have been to this Outback Steakhouse when I was a kid!
I love Outback Steak House. Sadly, there will be many more closed stores and restaurants after this horrible virus slows down. Eating at a restaurant will never be the same. Thank you for the great video
There's people going out so maybe not
My camp is outside Youngstown and it seems like they're pretty much back to business as usual. Over here in pa we still can only get takeout.
That new outback opened on my birthday
I agree, these new buildings have no character to them at all. Everything has to be boxed shaped, and boring.
same it's boring of the new Fucking Shoe Box's
Great video Wallieb26
We have outback in U.K. and it’s ok but pretty bang average in general . Great video as always and loving the channel . Cheers pal 👍
Yeah absolutely right outbacks very very rarely move out of a building or close but they are classy lookin places
Thinking about an abandoned Outback Steakhouse brings back memories. As they were demolishing the Upper St Clair location that was destroyed by flooding in summer 2018 (demolished in December) I was known for playing around in what was still standing at the time, like the kitchen. I salvaged a cutting board and a mug that would have been thrown out from it, and I still use them today.
My old outback was shut down recently too, no word where they moved.
My family loved outback
Cool 😀
Just wanted to say first that I absolutely love your videos. Secondly as a suggestion there is an abandoned max and Erma's in Findlay, Ohio just off of interstate 75.
For a building closed at the time barely six months, it was in fantastic condition-almost a turnkey restaurant, even the bushes outside were well maintained, no weeds or collapsed ceilings, parking lot looked okay...
All chairs and tables, booths, everything still inside too, as if it was just closed for the day.
Wallieb26 like the video that you did of the Kmart store in the outer banks thought it was so cool and never seen a Kmart store like that one in the outer banks
Nice video
There will be many abandoned restaurants to film after this pandemic.
Good news the giant eagle at city view center is closing and the whole place is going to be revived.
Good video sir, I think there is still a older style one in fairlawn that is still open i think, I might me wring lol.
Well the pin is gone from the abandoned Outback in Boardman unfortunately
Where can I buy a Wallie pin. I don’t live anywhere near you and can’t get to those
his Outback looks identical the one in my hometown, colors, layout, everything. It's still in business though.
I saw a meme on Facebook once and it was a picture of a Subaru Outback pulling another Subaru Outback eating at Outback and they said it was parked outback. The meme said an Outback pulling an Outback eating at Outback parked outback.
It moved in 2018
Mines a old schooled one still im lucky,
There's some crazy shit you need to check out in Rogers Ohio Wallie
The McDonald's that there building here has the same small dumb sign.... I hate it too!
looked at the area on google maps and where the Hobby Lobby and Ashley's is, that was a Value City Department Store. And i will be doing this around my area
Hey wallieb26 At some point you should come to Illinois because there are lots of good malls like the one that I took that you saw. There is a
Abanded Outback Steakhouse in Wheaton.
So far been pretty fortunate with Outback here in Wyoming/Colorado, no closures... I wonder if any and hope that no locations will close here!
funny enough i told you the past few nights i been eating at Texas road house i enjoy the cheese fries again also my waiter was Sidney again i knew it was going to happen last night she said dang espositos you must be addicted to this place this is the 3rd day in the row i was your waiter nice to see you again also for some reason my parent's were weird and got the waiters number but OK i am happy also we figured out what was wrong with the fridge it was being dumb for no reason apparently something was stuck and i was like seriously i could ate at home last night it was very easy it was a piece of ice and we got it today we had Spaghetti.
I have a old Nemenz IGA in Youngstown Ohio on McCartney road you should explore it is by a citi trends in a plaza I forget the name and one last thing the new Outback location was a Carrabba's before it closed
I have to believe it was a RENT COST ISSUE since it moved nearby (not THE location, but the CONTRACT)...
That will tend to be more of an issue in the next months and years with the issues the Pandemic has thrown into an already toxic business environment for FAST CASUAL RESTAURANTS.
We just ate at outback today
i had Texas road house the pass few nights due to Fridge problems all 3 days same Waiter apparently Sidney must like us tonight i finally ate at home and we also got the same table all 3 days which is crazy. first night got Chicken Critters, 2nd night Chicken Critters again and last night A Bacon Cheeseburger we had Spaghetti today finally a home cooked meal.
Dang i was hoping for Bloomin Onion, A quesadilla burger this place actually does and some fries and a Dr.Pepper but this Outback steakhouse is permanently closed.
@@rapidfire3914 i messed up sorry
I would open that back up as a pizza place with subs
What about a Marcos pizza franchise ?
Wonder if the area around the OHIO/Pensey border is the "Abandoned" Capital of the world with You finding so many Abandoned places Wallie
Do a film of remnants of the old Kmart
They moved to were the traffic flow is.
The rent must of been high on the building
i like rthe older ones better
I live in Memphis and we have a pretty high crime rate we've got places that unfortunately closed including a theme park that did it because of the high crime. I'm curious as to why the places that you film at close in the first place also whenever you try to open the door are you hesitant because of the potential of an alarm system?
All these chains seem to be going to a bleek gray look, no fun or excitement to go out to eat..
there's abandoned place in Erie I know where it's at because I've been there before but the roof cave-in
I work at outback lol
just think, if you had a Subaru Outback, it would of been Outback at the outback,,,,,
I ate at this one ONCE back in like 2013. It was terrrrible.
OoOoOooO
Looks like it could have been a Charlie Browns until they cut back on their restaurants,
I Love To Eat At Outback Steakhouse.
Is exploring bandos your hobby?
This Outback moved 2 years ago. It is not brand new
Ohi
600th like
kayla looks too nice to be on camera
Subaru Outback LOL
Those new building,s are cookie cutter style of buliding,s plus that is corporate waste of money
Awesome video wallieb26 by the way can you send me a wallie pin in the mail
