- Exploring An Abandoned House In Ohio. This was a bittersweet little find on the side of the road. Out in the middle of what seems to like nowhere, I can picture how cozy of a home this once was. Shame to see it deteriorate and fall apart. What possibly happened to cause this home to be left to decay and forgotten about? It seems as if it was a nice home at one point in time.

Hello Nate. I watch your videos and Wally's videos on You Tube. Some of the best ones are when you both are in the same video like the one where Wally visited you in your RV and helped you do some work pulling up carpet. Then he signed his name on one of the wood beams on the floor that will be covered with new carpet. Both of you guys really rock.

I know where that is. Don’t know the history of it either. That road is called Cadiz-Dennison Road on state route 250. I go by there a lot too. I don’t live far from here either. There use to be a barn there too but it was tore down. Awesome video. 🙂

Old asbestos siding from the forty’s . Really good segment.
Where the air conditioner was, that’s just the outer case or cabinet where the air conditioning unit that fits to slide into that.

Such a cozy little home. Darn shame it went to heck. Then again we don't know the history behind. I do like the details of the window trim, wood planned. They sure don't build them like they use to. Lol the makeshift potty training 😆

We do foreclose property management on our channel and had a house like this (before we started CZcams). The crazy thing is people were still living in it. But anyways, great video!

Been a while since I've watched on of these. Great vid. Yeah, a real sad thing that used to be someone's home before it got abandoned. The basement almost made me think of that one "Rescue 911" story about the two Walter children, but I'm that's not the same house.

I like your videos. I just have a question. My husband & I were watching this video & when you were in the basement around 7:49-7:51 we heard a male voice say HEY.. and it wasn't your voice. We went back and watched it several times just to make sure that we really heard it & we did!! I even went through all the comments to see if anyone else said anything about it.. & no one has.. So my question is did you hear it while editing the video?

But The way the world works nowadays everybody wants bigger homes but more space at one time that would’ve made a small cozy home for a smaller family maybe that fit all packed in one roof or a bachelor or single woman. The other problem you have is the fact that it is so close to the highway perhaps that is why it got abandoned I’m assuming at one point it was a really nice house before it was officially abandoned but now because it’s been abandoned for so long that it has started to deteriorate I believe somebody caught it at the stage and bought it they could probably resurrect that house if they wanted to but chances are if they want to buy that land they would most likely demolish the house because that’s the way people are nowadays which is a shame because that is a beautiful home if it was fixed up and would look really nice. And I think it would make a perfect starter home for somebody who is living single or maybe with a roommate because it has at least three bedrooms I would imagine

Good find, good find. This is a little different for you. It was definitely a cozy home for someone back in the heyday. It could’ve been fixed up nice if someone wanted to. The bedrooms seemed to have been a good size. The AC unit might’ve been taken for scrap.

Yeah, I use those Yankee Candle jar air fresheners. I used to have them hang from my mirror but my windshield mount for my phone and camera was making them hit it. So i moved it to the back on one of the luggage hooks.

I bet when this house was first abandoned it was nice but it looks like someone broke in and stole the pipes and busted the place up and left it and over time wind and rain took a toll on it.

Dude!!! They actually finished the attic (illegally, but still). Nice video, that house has asbestos siding, asbestos ceiling tiles and possibly, led paint.
Great vid man! Also I have a question. So I was filming a video last summer in Trussville, AL. I'm editing it now. And the outdoor shopping mall was playing music from the speakers. CZcams claims its a copyright issue because the audio is there. How an i supposed to remove that do you know? Thanks in advance though
If you're still editing the video, if you know how to mute audio from your video using your video editing software, you can do that. Otherwise, if you click on the copyright icon on your video, it should take you to a page that at the bottom should give you an option to erase the audio in the affected part of the video. It will usually say what time frame is affected.

Nice place, whenever I see places like this one, I always think about the people who grew up in that house. It was probably nice back in the 70s. Maybe it was a place that repaired cars or something. That looked like a big garage for a small home. Maybe when it was built he kept animals or a field tractor in there.

You did not even focus on the best part, and the most valuable, that old barn wood somebody should really tear it down and salvage it before it rots..
