    Not a traditional cappuccino, as the old style one has a lot thicker foam covering fully the espresso body.. This is more like a "modern cappuccino" :)

      Most lattes are 12oz, 140 degrees Fahrenheit, and silky smooth texture. Capp’s are 5-6oz, 135-140 degrees, and pillowy in texture.

      @@VigilanteCoffee I don't know about Cameron but I was just saying I think the milk should be a lot more foamy than in the video . Just looks like hot milk to me. But it's your show you can do it how you like, I'm still going to drink it.

    • @VigilanteCoffee
      @VigilanteCoffee  Před rokem +2

      @@Mastablendz there's a few styles of capp's. Some are "wet" caps where they're a bit less foamy and some are "dry" caps where there's a bit more foam. To each his own! Thanks for watching!

      In takeaway coffe shops there is too many customers so you make flat white cafe latte and cappuccino the same and you tell them thats the way 🤣🤝🏻

  • @cameronstrickland834

    I don’t think they’re different sized drinks

    • @VigilanteCoffee
      @VigilanteCoffee  Před rokem +1

      Traditionally speaking, the latte is larger at 12oz and the cappuccino at 5-6oz. This would be according to the Specialty Coffee Association's standard sizes on drinks.

    OK, I wathched the vidoe; what is the difference between a Latte and a Cappuccino other than the cup?
    BTW your prepositions at the end of sentences is grammatically incorrect and annoying. This leads to credibility, or lack there-of.

      @@VigilanteCoffee I think a lot of people seem to have this false notion that dry capps are the only "correct" version. Most of them probably don't even know the drinks origin from before the invention of espresso. The notion of "traditional" vs "modern" is kind of wrong when they're both just differing modern interpretations of the original drink.
      Also my first cappuccino was a wet capp, so from my perspective dry feels wrong and lacks in character and in taste.
