- Well HOWDY folks! We are finally back to vlog the Fort Wilderness campgrounds. We roughed it for you all so you can see just how AWESOME this campsite really is!! We take you along our checkin, camp set up and I give you a GRAND tour of the cleanest comfort stations ever! Plus, we take you around the 2000 loop which is where we stayed. We had such a blast and I can not wait to come back here again!

We are huge Disney fans, just got back from Easter Week, stayed at a Moderate Resort as we always do.........but I'd love to camp here sometime, cause I love camping. Great tour of this resort, thanks so much........and you're all an adorable family.....thanks for sharing! Love the tent you got.

April Albrecht Hi April! That sounds like a wonderful mommy/daughter trip! We have had rain storms while there and we didn't have any problems with the tent... knock on wood. Lol

+Marlena Green it was pretty easy. I believe it’s a mix of crushed limerick, shells and sand.
When I went to Disney as a child the princess didn't have a beard and mustach.

Maggie Pelow our weather is very unpredictable in winter. It could be in the 70’s or we could get down in the 30’s however the humidity is pretty low.
Hi! Why you choose camping?? Is really cheaper? We like camping, but we're from Argentina and I've never considered camping in Disney, but we're five in my family and it's an option for us, because we never save enoughoney to go...!!😥

Jonathan Nelson we’ve been in terrestrial rain with it as you can see in our other camping vids and the tent held up amazingly
how do u keep the kids from getting out at night. curious
nat metos they don''t really have any desire to try to leave the tent when we are all in there but if they ever wanted to try, our tent had 3 zippered sections and we keep one section zippered with the zippers up to where they can't reach.

closet camping i do is a camper.
They have nice well equipped cabins at Fort Wilderness that sleep 6. Double bed and bunk beds in the bedroom and a double murphy bed in the living room. Also there are companies in the local area that will rent you a camper and deliver and set up at Fort Wilderness for you if you do not have a camper of your own.

The price all depends on the time of year you are going and the type of campsite you are wanting. I suggest going on disneyworld.com and typing in when you plan on going to get an estimate :)
How much is it for a golf cart rental?
I'm so glad you asked! It is $59 plus tax a day. I feel it's a bit much however it was extremely convenient. We are just going to budget this in anytime we stay here

After we came back from wdw i made the kids each a scrape book of our trip out there. I loved it and so did the kids.

Fort Wilderness was our home away from home when the kids were little, don't you love it? I look forward to watching the rest of this and other videos of your trip.
PS We went back to FW this past December after 5 years of not camping and had to buy a tent, almost got this one but our kids are all grown now and didn't know if we'd need the space. This is a great investment for your future trips to WDW and state and national parks, the kids will grow into it!

HAHA! I totally lol'd when you tried to open the tent with your Magic Band! BTW, that tent is bigger than most cruise ship cabins. I am not a fan of camping, but that might be the way to do it.
Hahaha the only flaw in the tent is that it did not open with the magic band.
Stumbled across this because I booked for a family vacay at the campsites and was looking for good videos that have lots of info. and really showed the resort. Thank you!!! I sent it to my family because we all wondered about the comfort stations. My five-year-old daughter and I now watch your vlog every week and she is smitten with your family. +Michelle Conner No vids of AKL... Yet lol we have a lot of trips planned coming up!! AKL is amazing! There are cast members throughout the resort to talk to you about the animals and at night have night vision goggles. You will love it!

Great video. We are planning a trip down to Fort Wilderness this summer and have been scouring CZcams to get a idea of what to expect.
Danny Johnson we did the same thing and I couldn't find much and really nothing about the comfort station so I figured I would get the details out there lol I'm so glad it helped and have a great time!
@@NeverlandFamily that trip we took last year was for my son's final trip to Disney. He was looking at photos from his Make a Wish trip from 2014 and asked if he could go again. He had cancer and passed away May 21st 2017 6 weeks after the trip. The grandparents of one of his classmates graciously booked us into The Treehouse Villas at Saratoga Springs using their DVC points. It was amazing.
Last week my wife and I took a short trip to Disney without the kids and spent 2 nights in a tent at Fort Wilderness. We had a preferred camp site. We had a good time and are looking forward to taking the whome family down next year.
We were at site 206. I'm watching your video again and it seems that 2060 is a bigger spot.

Awesome video, really enjoyed watching! We are thinking about staying in one of the cabins this spring. Usually always stay at Port Orleans- French Quarter but we want to change it up and think the kids would love it. Don't think my wife would survive in a tent for a week, lol.

Your videos are amazing. We are planning a trip October 18 for Halloween and Halloween horror nights. We want to try camping at Disney and all the videos are non descriptive. I throughly enjoy this. We are just now deciding it we should buy a tent or rent a tent.

where do you get your music inserts from?
Is that a space heater in your tent? How cold did it get at night and did the space heater warm it up enough? I'm looking to camp the first week of February!
It is... For the size of the tent that we had, we needed about three but only had one. We camped in a 6 person tent with this same heater and it was perfect.
When we checked in, it was 84 and checked out at highs of 50's. Our weather is so unpredictable here

Neverland Family We camped at Fort Wilderness last June- the window AC worked perfectly! I just had to cover the mesh roof of the tent with a tarp and cover that with the rain fly. Our trip was so much fun!
If you are staying at the camps can you still use the resort pool?
Nerdicane absolutely! Any guest staying at Fort Wilderness (campers, RVers and cabins) can utilize the pool and the rest of the amenities :)

Do you feel comfortable with leaving your belongings in the tent when you go to the park? Also, do y’all leave a hole, in your tent so that you can charge your phone at night?
Vlog Squad as I don’t think anyone would bother your tent, there is always a chance so we do not keep any valuables in our tent. We will lock them up in the car. Our tent has a Velcro openings to feed a extension cord through so we can charge our phones, use our fans etc... hope this helped!

With the two of us, it took about 20 minutes to set it up completely.
How much does it cost to rent a cart? Does the staff help you set your tent up? I am staying there in September, and I am using one of their tents.
Jeff d'Hedouville We bring our tent and we are responsible for setting up our own tent. I'm unaware of Ft. Wilderness supplying tents to guests. The carts are $59 plus tax per day.
They do rent out tents and cots.

no i was asking if the campsite has anything dangerous in woods there?
adder birdo I can't say no there isn't because you are camping outside and there are critters like anywhere else. I haven't seen them while camping but that doesn't mean they aren't there. My advice is be aware of your surroundings even while camping at Disney.
are the carts available for rent there at Disney?
Nancy Watson yes we rented the cart from there. I recommend calling ahead to make a reservation for them :)
