He didn't register his house as a shooting range, there is no such thing over here. You'd have to get lots of approvals to even have a real gun range, yet nevermind having your own house as a shooting range. Those guns are airsoft and I know that for a fact beacuse you cannot own rifles in Romania for home defense.

Ive always liked Rivers until he obviously just showed his clear bias. I liked Rivers because he reports on facts and law & didnt really show Bias on either side of whatever topic he was speaking on. I don't think there's a deadline of starting his trial by June 30. There's a limit of the time that he can be in pre-trial detention, but if he's not in pre-trial detention anymore, that clock is now stopped.
The theory is, the prosecutors get to start the trial when they're done with the investigation, provided that the crime itself doesn't expire under a statute of limitation. In Romania, the decision of whether the amount of evidence collected is sufficient for trial is not determined by a grand jury, of course, but by a judge (who is unlikely to be the judge to run the trial).

Presumably there is a time limit on house arrest. Once that ends, he can leave the country. So I reckon they need to charge him by the six month deadline.

@@Phillylove100 Many people are charged and out on bail (in romania unlike in the us the bail is free you don't bay money, it's automatic unless you are a danger to society). That is not his case, he is not out free while he waits for trial, because he has been determined by a court to bee a danger to society and a flight risk, so he is arrested at his house. I'm just hoping he will not escape.

@neal cassady pretty simple man. Tates lawyers likely argued he’s to famous to flee and not get caught. And he’s likely got very strict rules he has to follow for social media and internet usage while on house arrest. Easier to have him on house arrest than in solitary. It’s pretty common with celebrities and the rich.

Seems to me the romanian prosecuters haved more or less wrapped up the investigation, and now are preparing trail. Judge did not see reason to keep them locked up while that is being processed. Seems almost fair.
