@@MarieAnneLecoeur that would be fantastic! My daughter and I are going to Paris this summer from Scotland (bonjour from Scotland!) and I need to brush up. I wish she would take up some style tips (she is 1.55m and 50kgs and would stunning in more fitted clothes), but bah, she's 18 and wears baggy clothes. Perhaps she'll be inspired!
I think you could wear a paper bag and still look belle. I really liked all the outfits. This old lady really appreciates all your tips to look younger :)
She is tall & slender, small bust. There is a reason why those traits are what most models possess.😎

Mom was a natural redhead. But back then, she was told never to wear red with pink. So wrong -- she would have been smashing in that winning combo.
Where I live, wearing red with pink is still a no-go except with kids in the art college at the university. It's done for shock value, like a row of safety pins in an eyebrow.
Red and pink are definitely your colours and wearing them together look lovely on you. Those black stilettos on the last outfit are gorgeous 🙂

What fun! My takeaway from this video is to break the rules and substitute something unexpected and in a color that doesn't necessarily 'go with' the main pieces of the outfit. My nine-years younger sister talked me into wearing above-knee skirts again, she said “such fantastic legs shouldn’t always be hidden!” I tried it and discovered she was right, I do look more modern and younger in them and my legs are good enough to show off, even at age 63. I often wear them with matching tights and knee-high boots, or my beloved Weitzman suede thigh-highs, which I have in three colors, but still want more (I’ll go bare-legged in warm weather, of course, even my leg skin is still very good, thanks to lucky DNA (thanks, Grandma! When she died in her mid-80s, her legs looked better than most teenager’s, not one varicose vein, fatty or saggy bit). Because I’m short, “mini” or “short” skirts come down to just a few inches above my knees. If they’re that awkward length, cutting the knee cap, the thigh-high boots work perfectly, too.

It is interesting that jumpers are a dress type piece of clothing that need a shirt underneath them (or your bra or breast would show😲) but other countries use the word for knitted/sweater type tops.
@@davisholman8149 yes it happens that certain items are called differently among countries that share the same language. In the UK we call jumpers what they call sweaters in the US. We call dungarees those that need a t shirt or shirt underneath 🙂

Marie Anne, you speak and I listen. I have gotten a lot better at inspecting my wardrobe for quality and I’m definitely learning a lot about French chic style from you. The downside is that I keep reverting back to my old habits. I was wondering if you have pieces in your closet or storage that are no longer suitable. Would you mind doing a closet clean out and explain why the pieces are no longer worthy of being in your closet. My new mindset is if it’s not there, I won’t go back to it! Great video! I like that green skirt! I would put black stockings (not opaque) with tall black boots (block heel if possible) and a black sweater under the green jacket, keeping the green skirt. Love all your ideas!😍

Wish I could wear turtle necks as they look elegant, but don't suit my neck. Wish I could wear high heels as only 5'2" but I waddle like a duck wearing anything over 40 cms high. Cest la vie. I now consider what I wear and how colours impact my skin and hair, so have learnt so much from you already👍

Pink and burgundy for those, who would like to stay in one colour in different shades....in my opinion even more sophisticated....for everyone , who hates tomato- red,....pale -skinned ladies, or with blue- ish undertones! A winter- summer- mixed type should think twice, before she invests in ANYTHING tomato-red.!!! But You look scrumptious, Marie-Anne!❤

I like all these changes to the original outfits, Marie-Anne. My favourite is the pink top with the red trousers, and pink trainers. You know me and colour! The shoes are very cute. Now that I have moved back to Hawaii I am surrounded by colour and light, and loving it all!

In the first outfit, I would probably change that black button on the red pants regardless, to a red button, because it stands out so much, that no matter what you wear, the eye is just drawn to the button - like that saying, "Once you see it, you can't unsee it."
