- Hello all! Welcome back! Today I will guide you through the organization of your house in old shcool runescape. This video is aimed towards higher levels as the house setup I will be showing requires 83 Construction. Hopefully you enjoy, and have a wonderful day!

If you're at 82/83 construction and don't want to train it anymore then you can delete the kitchen, bedrooms, dining room, and the chapel. Makes the house load a bit quicker.
Except no, don’t delete the chapel because it’s good for prayer training.
@@SomeGuyWhoPlaysGames333 That's true, but most people probably use the wildy altar these days. The gilded altar is ideal for HCIMs and UIMs though.

@@SomeGuyWhoPlaysGames333 most people who know anything about the game would tell you that is not even close to efficient. Just use world 330 so the altar is always lit. Or just go to chaos altar.

I've got the exact house, except I've got my Menagerie where your workshop is so I can see my pets run around when I come into my POH. Great video, I spent wayyyy too long trying to figure out a good setup

Should remove the plant from the portal garden next to the rejuv pool, would save you a couple ticks when pathing from Pool -> Jewelery Box tp
nice. just got 82 yesterday and my house is still scuffed af. Ill have to organize it, but more for pking and skilling.

Great video! I wanted toss in 2 tips of my own:
1) To get to your pool faster, remove plants/trees and fencing so you don't so many squares.
2) Due to an update, doors can be completely removed from the house, which makes your characters traverse through the rooms faster.

Swap 3rd Tele room with workshop and remove trees around portal to get around faster. Switch doors to removed rather than open

In the workshop I like having all the moulds so I can keep my bank clean now that I try to be more organized
I would go with a 4x4 house, since it vastly improves loading times. furthermore, i'm missing the kourend teleport, which is use a lot.

you can mount a xeric's talisman in the portal nexus room tho, i have the same setup
with the upgrade in november 2018, you can get gilded portal nexus at level 82 cons, effectively eliminating the need for all portal rooms. This allows up to 8 portal teleports in one portal in center of room. if you get to level 84 cons, you can boost to 92 to unlock the crystalline nexus portal, unlocking all 30 teleports in one portal in the center of room.
since you asked this is not the most efficient house setup, having the pool in the northern room but southeast location and right next to it have the jewelry box with the alter since you're most likely going to use those the most. then surround the garden with teleport rooms and east and west of the room you spawn into put another teleport room for the least used teleports.
can you do an updated version? Not sure if anything would change but I mostly do pvm and am wanting to get my house ready.

lol people go for 200m contruction xp xD 82 doesnt even take long with mythic cape or mahogany
if you want to be more efficient, remove certain (not all) walls/benches and plants from your garden. it can save a couple seconds from simple teleporting etc...
You can still get a fairy ring and a spirit tree in your house, just build another superior garden for it.
You can boost your level to build a room. You just can't use crystal saw to build a room which you do not have the required level.
Some things you missed:
You do not need fishing guild portal there is one in the jewellery box.
Do not build a wall in the superior garden it means it take longer to sip from pool.
You forgot the obelisk in the superior garden.
Remove the regular garden with house portal and build a formal garden this means you can build lots of plant/flower decorations which do not block your pathing.
Also if you use varrock portal for grand exchange you can just use jewellery box if you need more space.

@@SomeGuyWhoPlaysGames333 A few seconds adds up over a long period. Admittedly, a lot the stuff related to house portals is quite oudated now with the new portal nexus.
@@badassboss8672 If it takes 2 seconds, in 100 trips to your house, that still only adds up to 200 extra seconds, or 3 minutes and 20 seconds. Hardly that much extra time.

@@badassboss8672 A fence makes the house look nicer. And imo, having a nicer looking house is better than having it be as efficient as possible.
can you update this guide with the nexus portal added? takes out 2 of your 3 portal rooms and im curious what you do with the open space

You should put in a kharyll teleport as well, one of the only ways to tele to canifis is be on ancients and if you aren’t you have to walk or slayer ring tele

I've been looking for a good PVM focused house layout and this one seems to have everything I'd want in a place that makes a lot of sense...question tho; with Portal Nexus - would it be worth it just to have that one room in the upper left?
Its nice to still have a portal room for one click teleports even if you have a nexus. Have a portal room in top left with your three most used (say, lunar, GE and kourend) then put a nexus in the top right for all the rest.
Does your house load faster if you move the rooms to the basement?

I’m going to assume most people buy and sell bonds to afford all the money to build your construction or prayer etc so high unless they grind for years on end to even begin playing the game
How do you make GE portal?
Think you need to do Varrock Med to unlock it, might even be Varrock easy both are very quick

Brainlet Nerd if you have 83-85 it cost almost 18m with lava floor on both sides for superior garden
how do you get a +8 boost tho
crystal saw adds +3 and stacks with other boosts to get you to +8
You've neglected the Portal Nexus room. Even if you see no use for the nexus with all your portal chambers, the mounted digsite pendant and the mounted Xeric's talisman come in handy.

Why do you use the lunar isle tele for vorkath?
Aaron Shaw bank when talking to the pirate. And you get kicked off the island to fremmenik docks if you dont have the seal on you

if you use your pool then your jewelry box a lot then the way you have it its way too far apart

DO NOT follow this build set up. His house is way too long which increases load times.

So idk why you make this video when there's people with obv. more specific houses or when you don't even bother to try and be efficient yourself.

And since you can easily rearrange your house easily and for free, the "most efficient" house is just one or two rooms next to the spawn portal. There isn't any one most efficient.
I actually leave a blank slot next to my portal for which ever room i wish to swap in there at the time depending on what im doing.
