  • Join us on Avid CNC's production tour! Have you ever wondered where CNC's come from? Our production centers around our home in North Bend, WA.
We offer professional machine tools that are designed to provide everyone with access to CNC technology, with three distinct lines of ready-to-assemble CNC Router and Plasma machine kits, along with step-by-step instructional materials and support.
The majority of the components and parts for our machines are made in the USA, from the aluminum extrusion to the machined parts made in Fremont, CA. Our electronic systems are built at Avid CNC HQ along with ballscrew assemblies and many other components.
Check us out at www.AvidCNC.com or follow us here for more content on all things CNC. We produce instructional videos on how to build, calibrate and maintain your machines as well as project videos, and studio visits of a few of our favorite shops and makers!
We’d like to give a big thank you to Wintergatan for allowing us to feature his music. Please check out his channel, his bandcamp and support his patreon!

I have purchased many things online but I can honestly tell you that when my CNC Pro kit showed up at my door a few years ago I have never been so excited. The kit was packaged to perfection and the accompanying instructions and videos were excellent. Putting it together was a joy. Amazing product!

I purchased the 48x48 machine and can tell you their products are 100% quality in design and materials. As a machinist I expect quality and these folks deliver. Their customer service is as good as the machines they offer. I use mine just about every day and using it is extremely satisfying. Soon I will be purchasing the rotary add on. When I retire I will need another machine and I will be buying one of these again for sure.

I bought a BenchTop Pro 2424 last year -- love it. Seeing how the Z-axis assembly goes together is REALLY helpful in understanding how the machine works (drag brake in particular). I've been very happy with Avid -- great company to work with, very responsive.

I can’t seem to get an answer, I’m ready to either buy a desktop pro or a syil super x3 cnc mini mill. I want to cnc aluminum plate and some aluminum up to 4x4 blocks
Which machine would be better? Is the desktop pro as sturdy and accurate as the mini mill? The mini mill is used by the way it’s the 2010 model
