Spektrum Firma 40A Install and Bind

- I installed the new Firma 40A that Horizon Hobby sent me to fix the Axial SCX10 III Gladiator. This is still not working. Getting the same code as the old one. If anyone has a clue how to fix this, please let me know.

Just unboxed my kids gladiator. 4 minutes of driving around his room the dig went out. Next day 15 mins later the esc died. Currently waiting for a response from Horizon Hobby.
Hope this isn’t what we have to look forward to with this truck.

I later got that first ESC to fire back up but it took a couple hours of messing with it. I did it while watching movies.
But a battery in, turn the throttle trim to full forward. Work the trigger forward and reverse a couple times. Turn the throttle trim to full reverse. Work the trigger forward and reverse a couple times. After a couple hours of this, the truck started to move. That is the ESC that is now in the 10 2 Power Wagon. When I got a new 10.3 first thing I did was to unplug the dig. I have hd no issues with it.
For anyone reading trying to figure it out. I was having same issues. The controller needs to be factory reset. Axial will give you the info on how.

Did you try cLibrating the throttle. Might be reaching but I’ve had esc misread the throw and a calibration fixed it.
Did you find out a solution, I have the same problem?
Called the store I got it from. The owner called Horizon and they had me return it for a refund. That's why I have a SCX10 III now and not the Gladiator.
Can it be used with a separate receiver?
Not that I know of.
Yo I just went through this today. It's the transmitter. Some are faulty. They are sending me a brand new dx3
My transmitter is still working fine. It's interesting how the same issue can have different ways to fix it.
Press bind button on the remote until the receiver flashing red
Move the throtle trim
Wow. Having problems to. I lost reverse?. Brought it in the house. Plugged the battery in to recheck. Bang. The ESC started on fire. Nice burn on the oak table. H/H sent a me a new ESC. Now it will not Bind. Help me too. Scott B.

The thotle is hooked up in the wrong slot
Get a 1080esc and new transmitter. I have this gladiator sounds like their just shit electronics my dig also went out on first battery. Wouldn't have got it if I knew everything was gonna short out.
I played the squeaky wheel and got the store to take it back and give me credit to get something that has a better track record.

@@gfyracing7632 gonna run it.The scale look is nice lol might buy a receiver for the radiolink 6ch and only run one truck and put it the 1080 from my gen7. If anything else craps out. So far just dig.

@@frfr_11 It is crap this receiver/ esc . I bought a brand new Axial capra 4ws RTR with this reveiver and it won't bind neither . Return to seller and now waiting and growing a beard .
