    Great vid mate!
    Rust repair, Prep and paint is pretty daunting but watching your channel breaks down painting nicely. Thank you

    Well worth the wait for this video, I'm a Ford man but really appreciate good cars I even own European also.
    Thanks for sharing your knowledge, tips and techniques, you certainly put allot of time in to get the results you achieve.
    I don't think there is a video of yours I haven't watched and enjoyed. ☺

    I do same work from home about to build my own similar booth setup. Your work looks awesome mate love how you actually show it all close up and not just take a picture.

      Thanks for watching Mick.
      I’d like to get more filming done but it’s very hard to find the extra time/energy when you’re trying to get something done.

    Looks very nice, I love your attention to detail. The stuff you don't need to do, but it is what makes the car stand out from the others when it's done. Great Video.

    So good to see a vid from you mate. It’s come along very nicely! I love auto drags. That’s what I want for my hg wagon. And I think that sunburst colour would look sick on a hg. I’m thinking botanic mica for my build…. But that’s along way away lol. I have heaps of rust to cure first

    • @TheRestoShed
      @TheRestoShed  Před měsícem +1

      Sunburst is a popular colour! I’m sure you’ll pick a good one whichever way you go Nathan.

    Love the videos mate. Bloody top notch for a diy guy. I'm using the protec system for my vs also. Out of curiosity how long did you wait until you hung all of your panels after paint since it wasn't baked?

    • @TheRestoShed
      @TheRestoShed  Před měsícem

      Thanks for watching. Weather permitting, I like to give them a day or two to bake, then I keep them stored for a week or two. There’s obviously a lot of factors though to how quickly the paint hardens.

    Those inner guards are killer but how are you going to attach the rubber splash shields?

    Hi mate what was your reason for removing the brace on the bonnet and did you also modify under the boot lid as it looked different

    • @TheRestoShed
      @TheRestoShed  Před měsícem

      Clearance for a taller manifold/aircleaner. Bootlid isn’t modified.
