    Do weigh training as the main, but do calisthenics to remain a Beast ready to hunt in the jungle

    Calisthenics for me, not only is gym costly, it feels useless to start out with extra weight at first when you can even master your own bodyweight. Calisthenics ofc has its own cons but in 2 months I have gained strength and muscle and hopefully will keep getting those results because I am a thin boi lol

      @@teehhaha no you gain more muscle when using weights calisthenics build more strength if you do weights you can't do a free handstand but if you do calisthenics you probably be able to do a handstand in a few months and you can always add weight with any calisthenics exercise to make the workout harder so you always progressing that why I like calisthenics more

    I started to workout about 7 monts ago and for me calisthenics its what i enjoy the most, but sometimes i do combine some weight lifting with dumbbells, and i using weight vest to some exercises

    I like weight lifting/body building and a little bit of body weight training.
    I love training legs and therefore I won't go with Calisthenics alone.

    Calisthenics is more consistent for me. Going to gym ain't practical in the long term in the future. I mean when you're living in a conservative family oriented society.

    I just got back into working out and I've only doing it for a month so far and I believe if you do not have a good physique and you are new to fitness you should start out with calisthenics for the first 6 months to a year. Then start incorporating free weights and bench press and a weighted vest. Because there are some people that just you bicep curls and upper body stuff for a month straight and still can't do 10 perfect push ups

    Here i find weightlifting more fun but a problem is i noticed that whenever i do weightlifting stuff for me its mostly unstable (instability) in my hands between weights and my hands. Its not like i cant push/pull weights i can but its not stable so for now i am on properly mastering the CALISTHENICS first and later i would again start doing weightlifting.

    I do weight lifting because progressions are much easier and I can increase or decrease weight based on my needs but I train calisthenics too, for the skills and because calisthenics is where the heart lies.

    Weighted Calisthenics to get Jacked in the Upper Body, regular Calisthenics for show, and Olympic Style weightlifting and explosice plyometrics for lower body.

    Is your goal to just be better at calisthenics?
    Yes? Do calisthenics
    No? Do weightlifting.
    Calisthenics is good if you want to become better at calisthenics, and that's the only thing that it truely has over a gym. You can program any other benifit into a gym workout, so I'd your goal is not calisthenics you can get better results in the gym

      - you become very rigid and not flexible if you are only lifting weights
      - you mostly work your slow twitch muscles and underwork fast twitch
      - you won’t have optimal mind & body connection
      - calisthenics also forces you to get lean in order to continue progressing, whereas with lifting weight it’s okay to get fatter while lifting more
      Note: At the end of the day it’s all about how you want to look and what goals you have in mind

      Push ups are the best exercise because its a multi exercise works your shoulders,triceps,chest,core and it's the perfect exercise you need for width

      Just do high reps (8-15) of basic exercises (push ups, pull ups, dips, etc.) and make sure you eat at or above your maintenance calories. Later on, progress to weighted calisthenics.

      Quickest way to put on muscle is realistically weight lifting easier to progressively overload . But calisthenics has some essentials like the pull up which should help you look wider. If body weight is too easy add some weight .
