They broke the shit outta that game. I feel bad for my stubborn friends who are still holding that dead corpse

Yogizilla I’m a warlock they killed every build for us too imo used to be different types of warlocks too . Dps/fury or more of a tank/dps with damnation and soul puppet now there’s either damage or heal and that’s it and if you either of those you’ll be identical to everyone else they took half the powers out of the game though so it’s kind of to be expected the classes in this game are almost like skyforge at this point lol
I been playing for a few years still not know much about building my character. But it does get boring especially when you do play a dungeon get half way through and everyone leaves. I still haven't hit ravenloft or the mad mage. Frustrating. Now I get my guy built up and there's nobody playing.

Yea I stop playing after the whole ban wave .. got ban for 3 days and then never played again .. The barovia hunt put the game in a good state and then they basically kill their game with the bans..
Totally agree with your thoughts. Biggest issue at the moment is the "random" Dungeons. I mean queuing for an advanced dungeon and getting CRL with random people and they are newbies, struggle to complete as they do not know the mechanics or quit, so you abandon the queue re-queue wait for the next random to come along (solo roughly 40mins) to only get another CRL. In the last 10 solo advance queues I have done I have only got CRL. Where is the randomness in that? May go back to Red Dead Redemption 2 see if they have fixed their issues yet. I start the grind of Destiny 2 again.
I think MoD16 and 17 are a prelude to MoD18 which we will finally get the content we have been waiting for. MoD16 was power, character, companions, enchantment/gear and boon rework. MoD17 was PvP and fashion rework. MoD18..... New big content, campaign story with select old dungeons returning. (This is just my own opinion and hope for Neverwinter.)
I used to play the same content over and over with different classes just to see how they play. They could learn from Overwatch. The argument for "balancing" is just tired. It will never be balanced.
Borderlands 3 has been a great game so far. I got to meet the devs and Randy (ceo gearbox) at a gamestop BL3 release party in plano tx. All of them are all great. Did not give away any secrets though except my friend asked about the random chars on BL2 guns. They seemed random but they could be SHIFT codes. 1 dev said if it was him, he would try inputting those chars into shift codes and order the guns by Maker\Brand. I haven't tried it yet but was intriguing.
I played alot of neverwinter and actually spent alot on it too. Unfortunately I found it too costly for me and switched to Overwatch which I found way more interesting and wouldn't steal my whole day. For modern gamers I think this is the way to go!

No, they will not port this over to PS5 since Sony now requires all new F2P games with lootboxes to reveal all odds of winning. We know this isn't going to happen when they pulled Neverwinter from the Asian market due to them passing laws about lootboxes having to reveal odds of winning.
I died a little on the inside. I returned to the game last October after a year long break from it. I absolutely loved Barovia. Got me all pumped up again then the devs threw it all out the window.
I've only been playing for a couple months so there is still a lot of content for me to experience and gear to upgrade. I get your point though because I ran in to the issue you now have in champions online so I started playing star trek online then ran into the same thing there and started playing neverwinter. I have far to much yet to do in neverwinter to be bored with it, but I get the way you feel. Go and try star trek online, there is enough to do there for a new player to occupy you for several months.
Bulette Pup is the best one for Dps and but it's really expensive as well. 350-400k Astral Diamonds. If you want a good companion right now, buy a Cat at Green quality on the auction house. It's 9-10k AD and it's an augment companion.
I'm a fan of Icosahedron. Depends on the stats you lack. Would not worry about it until you have BIS gear. As a new player, you could expect a year's worth of content and farming to run. Welcome and happy hunting!
The new system about excluding classes because of class balance is the worst, they destroyed two dps classes, to turn them into support ones, if you play barbarian you are only accepted as tank for tomm, if youre warlock you are forced to be a healbot. How to officially kill two classes? make them two roles, so they deserve a reduction of their dps performance becasue they aren't pure dps classes.
Sadly Neverwinter is dead to me now, haven't played for two months, I haven't even logged in to get my free daily VIP rewards. Still got 2 months left too but just literally cannot be bothered anymore. The lack of great content, 2 day campaign completions, and still same old BS that the Devs plant us with. I was waiting for mod17 a week after mod16 because it got that quickly tedious after completing new campaign so fast. The bugs in the game are on a phenomenal scale, there's just too many to fix all at once but they never will fix them all. There making more things account bound so cash grabbing is more likely, in return it will just lower the playerbase even more. So many people have left, so many major players have cut Thier support to the game. I have everything on Neverwinter. The mounts, the weapons, the gear, the companions. There's nothing more to gain but to see the same repeat things happen. Mod17 will be no different with Stardock. Just an extension to the already boring campaign. Too many problems gave me the reason to leave. Eventually the game over next couple of years will start to lose revenue and it will come to a close. MMOs come and go. Neverwinter has stuck it out for so long the Devs are out of ideas to bring life back to the game. I feel sad for no longer playing but Neverwinter just isn't an enjoyable experience any more. If I ever have the effort to log in again, it will be to give away all my runes and enchants to lower level first time players who are new to the game and enjoy it where they can.

i really enjoy the game but it does have so many problems. the dev team seems to be more focused on grabbing as much cash as they can. they release a new mod every couple of months, rinse the players for all the money they have. then they rinse and repeat every time there is a new module release. i hate seeing how bad this game has got. it used to be my favorite game to play. i still enjoy playing it however with so many players that are new or inexperienced and get put in some impossible dungeon almost immdeately.

The game is trash anymore. Random queue's are nothing but skirmish maps 99% of the time and the same 2 or 3 at that. Drop rates are still complete shit. Still don't own a leg mount, still never pulled any +5 ring from anywhere, still no Staff of Flowers after months of daily grinding boring ass Master Expeditions, still never pulled a forgehammer, literally got 1 singe Mithral Ticket from 2 weeks of grinding Summer Event. Game still runs like ass, FPS is complete garbage, still can't believe River District got a pass in how shitty it runs. Too many new players not knowing what to do. This list goes on and on and on. Feels like 3.5 years of wasted life. Yep, I fell for their carrot on a stick shit. Didn't pay a dime though.

ESO endgame is PVP unless you don't mind running the same boring dungeons and trials over and over again. Tera and BDO... don't get me started. For me, having friends to play with daily is enough. The game doesn't feel stale years later but I have taken breaks and I havent pushed for minmax. I think for the minority who is ultra bleeding edge endgame I can see the issues, especially if events dont appeal to you. But I never find any shortage of things to do so I can't relate here. People forget they are trying to appeal to a wide audience and the average player isn't maxed out or anywhere near it. ;)

It's always worthwhile to take long breaks from this game. After a year or so there will be new stuff to do.

This zone was the shiznit when it dropped. 70 zones full of players. Then the game managers banned them all. Game still hasn't fully recovered.

Complete garbo game and already uninstalled it. Gears 5, competing in Fortnite competitively ESO and even some WoW classic on PC are on the horizon!
