I lived Gretna,Algiers,but finally settled MidCity. Endymion 1block from us. Transportation easy on Canal. Hospital down the street. School around the corner. I would have lived there longer if I wasn't flooded out from levee break during Katrina. I liked Metairie but nothing was like South Jefferson Davis Pkwy. I recently started a new life in a different state but friends and family still home. I'm 62yrs and raised 5 with 3grandbabies there. I ❤️ your channel. Who Dat!
Uptown is from Earhart cross martin Luther king all the way to the Holly Grove but on the map it o ly shows East Carrollton all uptown.. Central City is uptown too

I grew up living in Uptown NOLA. We moved to Avondale but eventually moved back to New Orleans. I left at 18 and currently live in California.
