I am so damn stoked by your video. I can't tell you just how grateful I am to you for making this video. As if I wasn't already blown away by your video, you started answering the other MAJOR problem I'm was trying to solve. Just how to create a negative Gobo? That's even harder to create. I'm just looking for good sources for projecting black images on subjects and backdrops without have to spend another $300-$500. Any thing at all would be appreciated.
    Thank You

It's pretty easy! just grab a piece of plexiglass or something similar to a lens filter (I've found them at craft stores, cut a circle like shape into it, (it's going to crack and not be perfect but we need it to be see through.) Then design your shape in 3d software (or use this tutorial) and 3d print out a small version of the shape and use scotch tape to adhere it to the plexiglass circle. Now you can make shadows in very specific shapes!

@@RussellKlimas I'm definitely going to give that a shot. Printing small enough shadow images at that scale is a challenge, but I don't think its totally impossible. For example: different or same size Dots, Stars, and Heart shapes that can fit on 2 inch Disc. Creating or printing shapes on a 2 inch surface is not a lot of real estate to print on. Is there a way to 3D print on a Plexiglass surface? If not, then it's has to be done manually.

I think I may have just solved the problem with projecting Positive Image. Have you ever heard of Digital Negatives? You print your Negatives on a material called Transparency film. Pictorico Pro Ultra Premium OHP Transparency Film, Waterproof Inkjet Transparency Film Paper is another. Fixxons Digital Negative Inkjet Film for Contact Printing. Depending on how rigid the film is will determine if I have to use Plexiglass or not.

@@darrenbivings4227 I was able to 3d print with an FDM printer small enough prints and then stick them onto the plexiglass and put into the projector no problem. I did this awhile ago so I know it's feasible. Only downside was that the projector has to be pretty close to their face. Only you have a lens that can give you a longer throw.

How long will a resin last in a GoBo Projector like 5 hours or less?

I mean once it's hardened it should last indefinitely unless you get it too hot like all plastic. But there should be info on the resin you use on what it's burning/melting point is.
