Austin is a method actor with a great work ethic. He immersed himself so much for 3 yrs, the day it was done, he was rushed to the Hospital for exhaustion and a supposed virus. He’s ok now but has confessed while already starting a new movie that all of a sudden he’ll go back to being Elvis. He said it’s been hard coming out of it, but that happens to method actors if they really marinate in it. As far as the music, I don’t mind if they mix some of it up a bit. But he sang over 800 songs & some of those can only be done by his unique voice. Especially 68-71 or so. Thanks so much for reviewing this. See you at the movies 🍿!

I watched Elvis movies where Kirk Russell and other stars played him and they were good but Austin Butler is out of this world, I felt Elvis's spirit through the whole movie!!! Everything about him, the singing, the talking, the moves were all Elvis. I just bought the DVD to keep and watch it. Elvis was with Austin from the beginning to the end. In the movie Elvis said to Priscilla that he was afraid that his fans will forget him, no way, never and this movie is bringing in a whole new generation of fans. I was born in 54 and his spirit is still strong and present, thank you Austin Butler for keeping him alive. Thank you to the young men and women who are now playing the songs of Elvis on You Tube, from If I Can Dream, In the Ghetto, Don't cry daddy and many more, thank you. He was bigger than life, on the screen, on the stage, just walking into the room. ELVIS FOREVER🙂❤

You are talking about the show in Jacksonville Florida I believe. Yeah, they really gave him a hard time about his moving. I’ve been an avid Elvis fan for over 60 years. From what I’ve seen so far, I believe this movie, is by far going to be the best interpretation we can produce to show how it really was in those days. The movie is incredible. Love it. Really tells the story of Elvis. The soundtrack is fantastic. Is in constant play at my house! Can’t wait for the musical score to come out. Saw an interview about it and it’s genius.

I disagree with you about remixing Elvis's music.....that would be horrible. His music is timeless and doesn't need to be modernized....it was perfect and still is.

This was a simple mockery of Elvis. I feel so sad to see how much they Misunderstood him. This was a noisy , Low quality cheap show . Even the original Elvis songs doing like stupid crooning. What a shape as to what Fans are left to deal with . I will not Bear to watch the trailer , let alone The whole thing. The silly bomb who Is supposed to portray Elvis , is the Most stupid choice .
