Covering how Thanos Saved the Avengers from the Celestials and Arishem the Judge based on the Eternals Movie and Trailer footage. Thanos comes from a different planet of Eternals on Titan. Thanos is part Eternal, like a distant relative of the Eternals in the Eternals Movie. During Avengers Infinity War Thanos Infinity Gauntlet Snap erased half of all life. And explaining how Thanos Master Plan was based on the Celestials and what they're doing in the MCU Universe during the Eternals Movie.
There are also rumors of future Thanos Projects in future Marvel Movies and Marvel Series. So we may also see them pay off the Young Thanos Titan Backstory that they teased in Avengers Infinity War with his history.
The Eternals will eventually crossover in Avengers 5 and crossover with Avengers in other movies like Spider-Man and Doctor Strange crossing over together in Spider-Man No Way Home. And the Shang Chi Post Credit Scene teasing Avengers 5 plot. And how Eternals 2 and Sequel Movies will handle other groups of Eternals from other planets. Like Thanos and his family of Eternals from Titan in Avengers Infinity War.
Kit Harington Black Knight, Richard Madden from Game Of Thrones. The Celestials Origin Story. How Eternity created the Celestials and the Celestials created the Eternals. Why the Eternals didn't help during Avengers Endgame.
Marvel Eternals will tell the origin story of the MCU in a much bigger way than we've seen in the previous Marvel Movies. Kit Harington is also playing a larger character with the idea of crossover over in Avengers 5 when that movie happens in addition to some of the Eternals crossing over with Avengers 5.

So awesome
@Emergency Awesome Do you think James Gunn’s egg is ego being born after the planet gets destroyed by the celestial (Arisham the judge)?
I'm jumping ship here, I haven't even see Eternals yet but I can't wait for them to meet up with the avengers already!!
Thanos was right. Look at the 2020s…
That explains the earthquake under Wakanda
It makes you wonder if Dr Strange knew about the emergence too. He might have actually seen multiple timelines where they do defeat Thanos in Infinity War, but this results in the emergence happening. Essentially, Dr Strange knew they had to lose first, to then defeat Thanos, which would then prevent the emergence happening.
Would've been nice if we had a DS cameo.
Don't thing so . A solution to stopping Thanos is probably not going to show eternals because they were never going to do anything about it even though they knew .
I don’t think it mattered as long as humans aren’t completely exterminated before the emergence. Thanos only delayed Tiamut’s birth; he didn’t stop it. Hulk’s snap was like jumper cables to an low/dead battery.
It is interesting how the events all unfolded and are connected though. The Celestials are cosmic beings. Their perception of time and space is on a completely different scale than ours. Ajak wasn’t even bothered by Thanos because she knew that his presence and plan wouldn’t terminate Arishem’s mission.
Good point.
Marvel writers - "write that down! write that down!"
“You’re not the only one cursed with knowledge…” Thanos
Very astute!
I swear óñ my sóul, 🎃
@@johnsantos507 Ajak was the first one to know about the snapping because Arishem felt the power of the 6 stones being used at once. So Arishem told Ajak of what happened to half of the population on earth and other planets.
This phrase now hits deep
@@johnsantos507 so?! You don’t think someone like ajak wouldn’t know it happened, it’s kind of common sense…
Shows alot on how an alien races like Thanos are so advanced because they are willing to lose everything to make something happen while humans on the other hand have attachments and morality
"They call me a madman" now we know what he meant
Dr strange: "there was no other way"
Totally hits different now
It's one of those things that makes it better with hindsight. The Avengers needed "to lose" a particular way for events in a grand scale to end with the best result to defeat Thanos but to also deal with future threats.
And handing time stone to thanos
And now 🥴 😵💫 🕷 😯
fax
Still doent make thanos a hero of the universe by slowing a celestials growth and celestials create millions maybe billions of new planets for life and only a few FEW planets they sacrifise for more celestials. and celestials created the infinity stones and stronger than the stones(in case you didnt know)celestial are the "light" and people like "null" the exact opposite of "light" destroy celestials just like that floating head that was killed by the sword of "null" which is the strongest symbiote the first symbiote that is in a form of a sword
This shows that even though the snap in Endgame was necessary to bring back our favorite characters for future movies, it still was going to have massive consqeucnes moving forward and showing that Thanos has totally changed everything forever.
And the massive consequences are 6 marvel kids superhero movie for the next 40 years without break because this is what movies have become, unnecessary multi connected live action comic. Also they're going to reboot iron man and all dead people making it stake less, just time travel or bring back someone from other universe. Endgame made infinity war a pointless movie, just watch the movie industry shove what we've seen to our faces over and over again, reboots and remakes hell aunty died, bring aunty from earth 109 or just time travel or something else. Even dragon ball Z lacks real stakes and consequences. Look how many Batman there are in the last 2 years. Sorry for the rant, I just dislike the movie industry in general with their repetitive products because they can't make something new or original so they have to rehash the same thing we've seen in different ways, for like centuries or something. Oh and btw, in fast and furious 18, it is revealed that vin diesel had a twin brother who they've never mentioned to the audience before and turns out he's actually an alien who crash landed on earth and was raised by martha and wait.. yeah we'll just change the name. And they are teleported to the mcu universe and Dr strange give faf team cars with magic gas?! Idk man
massive consequecnes more like 1 3hrs movie + 2series 😅

Thanos “ Perfectly Balanced, as all things should be.” He was damn right.

@Reuel Richardson They're only more powerful than an individual stone.

You know what I was thinking about when watching this video? I suddenly remembered the scene when Thanos told Tony; "You are not the only one cursed with the knowledge." Now I'm wholeheartedly wondering what that knowledge they were talking about was.
Thanos should get an own movie now
I swear when you break down these plots, you unknowingly give Marvel new ideas and backup stories to cover up gaps and help interlink projects. They really should be paying you heavily for this. Would Doctor Strange have gained knowledge of the Eternals existence whilst looking ahead in time during infinity War?
Most likely know about them already
He only saw up to the events of endgame…. BUT he is the sorcerer supreme so regardless he has the power to view the future

@@truthoftheuniverse4179 he always seen him self as a someone who is saving the universe. No matter if he knew or not about the selections he knew he was good.
Humans : "I don't know what the hell is going on but hey, we lived"
A couple of questions though. Didnt the snap only put the population back by 70-80 years? I sure that was mentioned somewhere, but thats barely a blink in the eye for an incubating Celestial. Possibly saved the current Avengers lineup but would have affected whoever was protecting the planet in around 2100AD.
Also another question, did the snap to return all the people of Earth only affect Earth, or did the Hulk Snap return everyone universe-wide? That would have been messed up for a number of planets who had no idea what was going on, to have half their population disappear and then reappear several years later!
most probably some beings on other planets knew about the infinity war happening.
It have to have brought everyone back, because aliens Bruce never even knew about like Drax also got brought back.
IIRC, Marvel was going around each planet helping them after the snap.
"Remember, just undo what was done" need a cite
Thanos probably wished the infinity stones to dust celestial
Oh, I get Ego now. Ego was even worse than Erishim because Ego actually wanted to create a new Celestial by taking the energy from Tiamut! And he needed an offspring to help him fight the other Celestials when he did that, which is why he was was trying to create as many children as possible across the galaxy.
But if the celestial are going to be the enemy then ego is the allied
nah ego didn't want to create a celestial he wanted to absorb all of the celestial shards to become a pure celestial he didnt look like he was a pure celestial cuz he has lesser powers than one so maybe he was an artificial celestial but failed and escaped.
@@dwynemarquita4388 Although, the enemy of my enemy isn't exactly my friend.

Ego knew about the unborn celestial and his diabolical plan was to absorb them all while building an Army of Ego planets whom each would have given birth to duplicate Ego's across the universe to fight the celestial. Basically all ego,Ego, end of universe bu end of variety. Just Ego. Yikes.
Thanos knew it all along. Thats the balance he mentioned. I remember he said to Gamora: "I m the only one who knows that." or to stark, " you re not the only one cursed with knowledge"
Now I get it. So he must have knew. Sum like how the guy said his people shuned him an they're all dead by we now or don't know if it was a celistrail
nah thanos could just snapped away the celestials or all the ones growing in planets... thanos didn't give a monkeys he just wanted to balance universe because he saw planets starve through bad resource management... slowing the emergence was just a side effect

What I liked about MCU is it hadn’t gotten so crazy with the number of characters and retcons and (levels of OP things that could kill everything) I feel like I’ll watch a couple more things but might abandon ship at some point, the “comics style” of creating an unlimited universe isn’t for me. Up till Endgame, MCU was still in the style of Lord of the Rings which makes for an impactful fantasy universe IMO, as opposed to “oh btw there’s the TVA and Kang and Celestials” and diluting past work
I just came back from seeing the movie, and I gotta say, on the one hand, I get that the Celestials are important because they make new life fill Creation (I picture every Galaxy being the 'home' of a Celestial), but on the other hand, the humans of MCU Earth, when they undid the Snap, they effectively DOUBLED the then-current amount of life in Creation. And I will point out, that when Thanos halved all life in Creation, he effectively stopped (or at least paused) ALL new Celestials from Emerging.
Sure, if every galaxy in Creation is made by a singular Celestial, that means that each Celestial has/can create an unbelievable amount of life, and a single planet is a small price to pay for that. But when that one planet is responsible for undoing something as monumental as The Snap... I'd say we've earned outselves a pass. One galaxy does NOT trump half of all life in Creation PLUS all non-Emerged Celestials coming back on track.
Im sure this is also one of the reason why Doctor Strange must let Thanos win first, in all the possible outcomes
I wonder if the Snap killed half the Celestials too, since they're also technically "life", no?
Guess will have to wait for Arishem veredict over Earth...
@@Sheriff_K Nope. The Celestial came before the stones, so they are outside of there reach. But all emergences wete haulted thanks to Thanos snap.

Right when we thought Thanos was right, now we know he was absolutely right.
I agree with that statement, I think he did find out about the emergence.
He knew that after his home planet got detroyed...
So he knew that all planets would face the same problem with the celestials if they became over populated...
So he did whats right for the human race...but Avengers were to dumb not to realise that...because they were stuck on Earth and didn't know what Thanos knows...
Yep Thanos was a pure Genius, even smarter than stark
Why would Thanos care for humans?
@@truebigboss You're thinking WAY too micro. He cared about the UNIVERSE. The snap delays emergence all over, not just Earth.
But if he slowed every celestials growth then the whole universe is doomed as celestials protect it from duds like null and othere biengs that celestials are battling and desperately need more allies
But the Celestials too play a role in bringing new life right?.....Maybe some planets have to be spared for their doings but not all
Hay quá em! Mê bài này lắm luôn, cám ơn em nha!
It would be perfectly acceptable if the Eternals had a 'home planet' and the celestials tasked some to protect various planets like Earth, in exchange for their planets protection - similar to the Silver Surfer story line, which would slot in nicely with the up and coming Galactus theory.

Except they don’t have a home planet
I thought they came from Olympia in the comics. Which was a megalopolis on Earth 🌎. In the movie 🍿🎥 it's the planet itself. Remember the Celestials mind wipes them. So they can feed Eternals all kind of 🐂 💩. This is to keep them docile and obedient.
No
I love how The Eternals put Thanos's mission in a whole new light. Is it possible he knew about the Celestials and that was his ulterior motive for the snap?
If that were true, why wouldn't Thanos have just said so during one of the ten times he is explaining his plan?
@@tobyvision because knowledge is power, and Thanos is not the type to share power.
@@cyrussoxlegion there is no "is it possible" just make up a answer in your head yes or no? Thanos is an Eternal so obviously, he knows about the origins of his family. If you had followed background comic stories then you would have known. That's why the Eternals never interfered when Thanos appeared on Earth. Thanos is a very powerful being. Thanos in the movies was a nerfed version of the comic Thanos.

I just want to put this out here. In Thor Ragnarok it was explained that Hela draws power from Asgard. Could it be that the Aesir (or possibly Hela only) can somehow tap the dormant Celestial power in Asgard (assuming Asgard has a dormant Celestial)? Also, I think it's inevitable that the Eternals/Young Gods would battle the Celestials. Surtur was able to destroy Asgard (still assuming it has a Celestial in it). Thanos was only concert on saving the universe from its overpopulation, and not because of the Celestials.

Therefore, Thanos was unaware of a Celestial on Earth or Celestials in general.

Planet is tilted
@@Anonymous-qb4vc yeah but it still exists... which it wouldn't if it birthed a celestial lol
It was changed from the way it goes in the Marvel Comics comic books.
In the M.C.U., the Infinity Stones can't destroy the Celestials. In the Avengers and Fantastic Four comics, the Infinity Gems can destroy the Celestials.
So if Galactus only feeds on planets that have Celestial eggs, then the other near-omnipotent cosmic being called the Shaper of Worlds restores the balance by creating planets and maintaining the existence of those planets. The Shaper looks like a giant cyborg Skrull with pale white skin, and blue bionic body parts. Galactus looks like a giant human-like humanoid with a purple and blue cybernetic alien body armor that resembles the living organic Vibranium bodies that the Celestials are made out of. The Celestials as well as Galactus and all other cosmic beings are both empowered and enhanced by cosmic energy, the energy of the cosmos that comes from the Big Bang that had created the universe 14 billion years ago. It is also called the Power Cosmic.
So Thanos' powers, and the Infinity Gauntlet's capabilities are not quite as powerful as they are in the comics. The comic books call them the Infinity Gems, and they are way stronger than what the M.C.U. portrays their power levels to be.
THANK YOU!!!
IMO The MCU, had really fucked up so many good comic storylines , however I will admit the movies look nice
Galactus doesn't "look like" a giant human. He just takes the same appearance as the population of whatever planet he shows up to.
@@Carbon_Based_Life_Form I know that but since he appears that way to us humans and since he will not look any other way, why mention this? Stop trying to school me. I know what I'm talking about.
@@incubustimelord5947 Except if Galactus were on a different planet and there just so happen to be humans along for the ride.
@@JacobHJones No because we the audience or the comic book readers will be seeing him as he is perceived on Earth by human beings. Just for convenience and for the sake of simplicity. They could have other characters mention differences or even briefly show what they see from their point of view, but Galactus, despite the way that his character's nature is, will not be made to look like anything except a giant humanoid. To do anything else would be insulting to Jack Kirby fans.
When Charlie said "I don't want to turn this into a 20 30 minute video" I screamed pain
I try to save those for full episode videos. I have to sleep. A little.
@@emergencyawesome totally understandable man. I really appreciate your work. I am sure your videos help everyone take their mind off the things which stresses them everyday and give them something to be excited about. Thanks a lot for your work. 🤟

Thanks! Will do!
Wow I would never guess Thanos was a hero for this , I guess there’s a first time for everything . So thank u Thanos for saving the Avengers from the Celestials
I mean saving the universe means saving yourself so if you don't save it you won't have a home.

“Celestial zoom call” - my soul left the body
Watching the Eternals today in a new local cinema nearby!
Thanks for the info, Charlie!
How was it?
I wonder if that is what happened to Titan, either an emergence or Galactus. "Congratulations you're a profit", "I'm a survivor."
Oh yeah, sorry guys, Charlie covered it. I really should watch the whole video before commenting.
I'm still on the page that the Eternals are no relationship with Titan. Fingers crossed for a Galactus connection. "What the happened to this planet!"
you can see in the part of guardians of the galaxy where the collector explains the stones. when the planet was being wiped by the power stone on the left you can see a being with a blue face who seems to be dying and screams which you can hear
Just came back from seeing the movie.
LOVED IT! It's so different, yet it had me intrigued all the way through.
That editing though Charlie, that Thor ‘NO!’ was lovely and bone chilling.
Great breakdown!
Nice analysis!
I finished the movie yesterday and it was pretty good!! I cant wait for your breakdown review i have SO many questions!! Im rewatching it again on sunday too!! Hyped!!
Can't wait for tomorrow been waiting what feels like eternity for this movie no pun intended lol
Well, maybe 7000 years, give-or-take..
Saw it today and it is one of the best mcu movies ever
The cosmic scale, the characters, even the god damn camera placement everything in this movie is pure art and is made for cinema
The story is *chefs kiss* and it doesn't have the pacing issues that plagued phase 4 projects like What if..., Black Widow and tFatWs
Also Phastos and Makkari are how you do represantion in modern media
I hope we get more of these types of movies in the mcu

Question: could this outcome also explain why Dr. Strange said, "only one outcome will work"? Dr. Strange is supposed to be the wisest of all the magicians
Except why wouldn't he just mention it to anyone afterward? Yeah, there's a whole other massive dimension to this problem but I'll just keep it to myself.
Mind blowing video! Thank you
I don't know what we would do if we didn't have Charlie explaining things. Thank you!
Thanks!
Completely agree. Been watching his videos since Game of thrones days
Charlie you have the best channel, honestly, you ALWAYS explain the necessary points in a very relative way that everyone can understand and give us the facts. Thanks man!

Exactly why Tony said: "when you mess with time It tends to mess back, you'll see" to Captain America

I never considered thanos to be a villain but he really did have extreme measures to his mission. If he did only maybe 30% or maybe like erase the bad guys or whatever
He is a villain tho.
Love the Smol Thanos on the thumbnail
Tiamut is in the clips Marvel Studios released. He’s just standing in the back chilling standing still. I think they’re staying true to the comics and he’s going to be a tourist attraction in Cali.
@@emilia3266 😍😍
until galactus comes to try and gubble him up 😭
well, he probably will be a tourist attraction, that is very likely
I love how you call it "Celestial Zoom Call"
Selmas chin has evolved decade after decade
thanos's intention was to wipe out half the population, so there could be more resources for the remained people. so life would not cease to exist as he said in infinity war. but you're explaining it as if he knew about celestials's plan and tried to stop it or at least delay it.
"When Thanos snapped his fingers, Earth become ground zero for a power surge of ridiculously cosmic proportions. No one’s seen anything like it."
―Rocket Raccoon. How would either snap helped to slow down the emergence. Less people on planet but a power surge of ridiculously cosmic proportions would make up for it and more.
Tiamut feeds on life force not cosmic energy or radiation. Pay attention dude.
Maybe the radiation is the anti life radiation and had the opposite effect on the celestial emergence slowing it down! Cuz it needs life force but Thanos did the opp of that!
@@solfege18 Not life force, specifically mental energy.
They need to absorb sentient minds to wake up.
@@solfege18 the guy in the video says that he feeds in cosmic energy....
I don't feel Hulk's snap "reset" the immergence timer back to 7 days. I feel more that the energy generated from Hulk's snap boosted all the cosmic energy, speeding up the emergence exponentially. That would explain why the emergence was still a long ways off before Hulk's snap.
Heck, the energy from Thanos' snap may have also sped up the emergence exponentially as well. So pre Thanos snap, the emergence may have still had a thousand years. So in that view, Thanos still screwed over Earth.
End of the day Thanos was saving the earth
@@highlifebreezy5827 after watching Eternals and hearing their official explanation about birthing new Celestials, I agree. Thanos saved the whole universe! Lol
It is my understanding that Thanos wanted to destroy half of life because of overpopulation and lack or resources;
He never mentioned "emergence". Ok maybe he forgot or didn't care.
Also, couldn't word of the emergence be spread on earth? Then everyone could be evacuated to another planet or something.
Thanos had huge ships... so if he really wanted to "save" humans from the emergence, wouldn't evacuation be better than mass death?
it made me watch all the season and marvel movie all over again .. but i can't wait to watch upcoming harry potter too
In Avengers: Infinity war, Thanos said that Titan was in the 'brink of extinction' due to 'overpopulation,' so he presented the idea of killing half of the population. In Eternals, it was stated that a planet's population is supposed to grow to a certain amount of for the celestial living within for the re-emergence to succeed. This could be proof that the eternals assigned in Titan decided to save the planet and lived with deviants (e.g., Thanos) and Titan's original settlers since Eros, who's supposed to be an eternal, was just introduced in the show. However, due to the eternal's love for the planet, they could not accept Thanos' genocide proposal thus, in the end, failed to stop the re-emergence. This could be why Thanos wanted to wipe the entire universe's population to half, knowing it will delay the re-emergence just like Ajax said. It was stated that the eternals are able to survive the destruction of other planets due to their connection with the celestials within the planet, so that could be the reason we now see Eros well and alive... but we don't know what his real intension are. Was he sent by celestials to lure the earth-eternals to a trap or does he really know where Arishem brought the other earth-eternals too and the other titan-eternals could be there, and Eros wants to save them?
Thanos is an eternal he has a mutation thats why he is purple.
If the Titan emergence happened, there would be no Titan for Tony’s and Peters group in infinity war to fight Thanos on
@@db153yt with deviant gene. You haven't seen how the deviant absorbs the eternals' power in earth?
