It's pretty simple actually. If he can do it then someone will eventually do it since the possibility exists so what's the point of not using time travel for his world since he'll need time travel eventually when someone else does it. Dr Strange should have seen it when he's doing that chakra thing but why did he allow it to happen and it's their job to keep the timeline clean? Coz they'll need it eventually. They'll just cancel each other out on and on and on to infinity. Did IronMan know this dude? Nope but he knows someone will eventually crack the code and whoever that is will pretty much act like god changing whatever he wants and here's a kicker, Iron Man didn't care coz it wouldn't affect his timeline coz it's gonna be the 1st and whatever they experience in that timeline is untainted so to speak and the one in danger is the future and it wouldn't affect them not really if it never happened in their lifetime. They could defeat Thanos themselves but why bother since Avengers did it already and did it clean and they had to exist. Time Travel is trippy so talking about it is insane.

I doubt it. Ill put it this way. Everything from the beginning of time to when He who remains is created is exactly the same as when it first happened. He only preserves timelines that follow the one that created himself (the original timeline). And the avengers fighting thanos and eventually time travelling happen in the original timeline that creates he who remains. That's also why their time travel is allowed to happen, because it happened in he who remains past. But the Loki that uses the Tesseract is pruned because in the original timeline Loki ends up in asguardian prison. So the infinity stones all appearing one of after another happened without Kang putting them there.
It's more likely that Thor's words were to hint that someone was trying to collect all the stones. And we now know that was Thanos.

Think about it, Classic Loki fooled Thanos into thinking he was dead and he lived isolated on a planet for years. So this variant hasn't done anything wrong yet he's already made a big change. Him leaving the planet alters the rest of the story enough to brand him a variant. Alligator Loki was totally fine until he ate the wrong neighbor's pet. But before that, he's allowed to exist. Loki gets pruned after stealing the tesseract because He Who Remains paved that road for him to meet him and lead to his death.

This actually answers more why Dr Strange allowed Thanos to win at the end of Infinity Wars. He saw over 14 million futures and not one of them did he see Quill punching Thanos? He could have stopped that. He could have opened his portal around Thanos' arm and closed it, cutting the arm off. Or any number of other things. But this explains that maybe Dr Strange saw the consequences of that, leading to an invasion of Kangs or something, and knew that Stark had to create that time device for Nathaniel Richards. That's something that has been bothering me since I first saw Infinity Wars. Thank you for putting that to rest in my head.

the other theory I've read was that Dr Strange saw over 14 million futures and realised anything else he tried (stopping Quill from punching Thanos for eg) would result in the TVA stepping in and pruning the timeline, because Kang needed Thanos to go off with the snap so that Stark would invent stable timetravel down the road, so that Kang would have access to it in the future thus closing the loop.

Proof that there is a multiverse: old classic Loki. He survived, which is a difference from the main timeline, but remained hidden for centuries. So his timeline kept in sync with the main timeline. Only when he tried to meet Thor by leaving his exile did it create a Nexus event. Up to this point, his survival didn't matter. So yes, the sacred timeline is a rope made of many different timelines that follow the same general direction, and Kang is perfectly synced with all the different version of himself in this closed multiverse.

    • @lordadamz6036
      @lordadamz6036 Před 2 lety +7

@@abhishekrawat6185 That's complicated so it's going to be a LONG reply.
In Marvel, it seems universes, timelines and realities are the same for now, but maybe it wasn't always the case. See what the Watcher says at the beginning of each What If... episode:
"Time. Space. Reality. It's more than a linear path. It's a prism of endless possibility, where a single choice can branch out into infinite realities, creating alternate worlds from the ones you know."
The only different concept is dimension, like the Dark Dimension, the Quantum Realm, etc. Even if time flows differently in those dimensions, they are still linked to 1 and only 1 single universe/reality/timeline.
Now, my interpretation from what I can see in the MCU is that after Endgame, timetravel and cross-reality travel are the same thing. When the Avengers travelled back in time, they created multiple different split timelines (they didn't all go to the same place). Then they went back to their own time/reality. After that, Cap still managed to go into the same newly created timelines in order to put the stones back in place, but this only prevented the timelines from branching out from the "sacred timeline", it still created different realities. At this point, it wasn't really timetravel anymore.
If they pushed their technology further, they would have been able to jump from one reality to another at will, but for now they could only travel through a linear path that linked them to a specific time in a specific reality that they created themselves.
The terminology seems to only imply how the reality was created. I understand that at first, there were multiple universes, all parallel to each other, all born independently from each other like different trees born from the same soil. But still, even without time travel, those universes can still branch out because people can make a certain number of choices, and also some things are just random, so those would be alternate realities, different branches from the same tree (so reality is a branch from a universe, like an alternate set of events from a main universe, a "What If", but there are still other unrelated universes).
We could say that the Spider-man movies are 3 parallel universes, and each of those universes could have alternate realities, like what if Tobey kept the black suit, what if Tom didn't trust Mysterio, what if Andrew caught Gwen, etc.
I use the words tree and branches to make an analogy and explain their origins, but imagine that trees would span more trees instead just so you understand that branches and trees have the same importance and potential. So you could also argue that there was always a single tree that branched fast from the beginning, it could work...
At some point, the multiple Kangs discovered the multiverse. Now is it that each tree had 1 Kang or that only 1 tree had multiple Kangs it's not clear, but I assume a mix of both. So those Kangs fought and He Who Remains pruned all the trees, keeping only his universe. Then he also started to trim the branches that went in a "dangerous" direction, keeping mainly his reality and some others.
At this point after the Multiverse War, reality and universe became synonymous.
To prevent further branching, timetravel had to be included since the splits and the branching could occur at anytime in the past or future (before that, when jumping from one "tree" to another, you would travel at the same "height" or time period. All the Kangs existed in the 31st century and they didn't time travel). Remember that the TVA could measure how far the branching would go and didn't care if it stayed withing the "red" parameters.
So now timeline is ALSO synonymous with reality and universe. And even if there was always a Multiverse, this one is now unrestrained, like it used to be. Different Kangs will be born.
It's only my interpretation. Of course it doesn't make perfect sense and I can't give all my sources, it's just years of playing, reading and watching Marvel media that made me come up with that conclusion. I'm also curious about other explainations.

I think it’s a lot simpler than “Kang let the Avengers time travel so that he could have that tech in the future.” He knew that Loki and Sylvie would eventually find their way to him because he willed it into existence. Without the time heist, that Loki would’ve never existed, the two would’ve never met, and Kang couldn’t have passed on the torch of He Who Remains onward. He said he was tired and left it up to them to either kill him or take over. The time heist was allowed to happen for that precise purpose, as well as being able to stop Thanos

VERY INTERESTING tie-in with Tony Stark. What we all sometimes forget is, Tony Stark would be the lead egghead who came up with the tech to time travel. However, he would not be the sole person to have hands on the project like when he hammered together his first Iron Man prototypes on his own. Mr. Billionaire Playboy Philanthropist has a whole company, Stark Industries, where there are hundreds of people working for him. Some are on assembly lines, some negotiate purchases for materials and investment opportunities... and some are involved in R&D. I would not be surprised if an iteration of Kang (or one of his ancestors) came right from outta the research labs at Stark Industries. Dope breakdown, great job!

From versions in the comics however we know that Kang eventually gets ahold of Doctor Doom's tech/ideas as this catalyst instead, do you think this will be retconned for the MCM? And there you go, one quick Bootstrap Paradox later and "Tony" has cracked it in a couple of days. (And maybe "He who remains" stole an Iron Man helmet while he was there.)

Much simpler explanation for why the Avengers' travelling through time was permitted:
He Who Remains was born in the 31st Century, 1000 years after all the events we have seen up until Loki. The "Sacred Timeline" is simply the timeline that led to He Who Remains' birth, which was completely dependent on the Avengers travelling through time and saving the world. They all had free will *at the time,* and there were probably a gazillion timelines that branched out everywhere, but He Who Remains later went back and pruned all of the branches that didn't lead to the specific version of him that we see.

I think I figured it out. When Stark was first visited by Rodgers, he had already ran simulations and was trying to resolve Strange's outcomes, which is why he already had an answer to Rodgers. I think the key variable was the pym particle and Lang's complete experiment. He then simulates what appears to be three lines or teams and one red line, which I think it's Thanos jumping into their present timeline. Therefore, it is possible, that Tony time traveled off screen and observed the events taking place before he met up with the team. This is why, he knew the answer to Banner's problem, "pushing time through Lang". That is why he had a new suit built for Rhodes and how he was able to survive Thanos's initial attack. He also told Rodgers where to find another space stone and he demanded, "don't ask me how I know", as one of the rules of time travel. Never reveal the future for it will change the outcome, which is the same rule that Strange told Stark, "If I tell you, it won't work". This is the same rule that "He who remains" said, "you must live through it to learn it's meaning".

He had 5 years to try and duplicate what Dr. Strange did with magic; look at the alternatives. I just think that this is not far reaching but like Dr Strange, Stark had to reconcile his death and justify it. He needed the answer that would lead to a victory along with his death. When he found it, he fell back in his seat because (my thoughts) he knew that it would work but he would need to die. I think at this point he made the virtual message for his daughter. Dr. Strange introduced the idea of 1 version of reality which would require sacrifices to be made and I saw Dr. Strange seeing that it would also cost Starks his life, but Stark had to be willing and strong enough to make that sacrifice. Thank you very much for this video and breaking things down. You really do a great effin job man. On a side note. I really really do miss RDJ as Tony Stark/IRONMAN. Since I was a child he has always been my favorite character. I have many but he has always been #1. The rest are in no specific liking order.

This is mindblowing. Iron man covered all phases of Marvel from first Hulk movie up to Avengers Endgame, this is actually a prelude to multiverse war since he said references on alternate realities or multiverse. Nice content. Clear and concise.

This theory sounds legit and looks like "Kevin Feige kinda thing".

That was a good eye on the design language of Kang’s tech being similar but more refined to Tony Stark’s tech.
Given the information this is difficult to believe that Tony knows or knew about Kang, Dr Strange doesn’t even know about Kang.
