    #Celestials #Eternals #Ego #Ashirem #Jemiah #Eson #Lore #KeyIssues #MCU
Eternals is out now, and with this new entry comes a literal dump truck of brand new lore relating to the cosmic side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
However, it's undeniable that one of the most interesting aspects of the film is the reintroduction of the insanely powerful race of cosmic beings known as the Celestials. This video is going to break down the cosmic beings as we know them within the MCU. Now, keep in mind, we are not going to be covering their counterparts within the comics… but we may reference them if need be, this video is purely discussing the MCU
From Jemiah, Eson, Ashirem to Ego, we breakdown each and every Celestial!

I think Thanos’ origin just got deeper too. So him reducing life meant that the cycle of destruction and creation would slow thus acting to counter the Celestials directives. This also begs the question who the next big bad will be, and I’m thinking it will be Galactus. Because Galactus could be on his own mission to keep the Celestials numbers low as a mean to maintain balance in the cosmos.
Eternity is also out there somewhere so I wonder if we’ll see the Living Tribunal.

    1) So what MCU has been showing us, that Celestials have internal liquids and organs as opposed to pure energy?
    2) When Sersi converted Tiamut to stone, where did Tiamut's energy go? We're talking about a Celestial seed popping. If the host was gone, then the energy should have gone somewhere or affect something on a planetary level.
    3) How big is a MCU Celestial? In GOG2, they're as tall as buildings. But Nowhere's like planetary big. There's no way a sword can cut through that. At 4:31 of this video there are a couple of frames of the beings Ego mated with. In the upper left curve of the egg, Ego is mating a Chick With Antennae. Was Mantis the result of this act? Does this prove she is the daughter of Ego and half-sister of Star Munch? It might even be how she received her powers and why her power was to make Ego sleep. This could not be canon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But we already have one explanation for where the celestials came from and how the celestial head was severed. A creature named Knull existed in the universe before the celestials came to it. He believed that the darkness was perfect and as whole as it gets. Then the celestials came in. When they saw the darkness they stop your emptiness. They started making stars, planets, and life forms. He saw this as an affront to his perfect Darkness. He then made a forge far outside the universe. From there he made hundreds upon thousands of sentient blades. He called fees blades the Symbiotes. He sent them out into the universe to destroy all life. Knull used one of these blades to decapitate one of the celestials. Eventually (I don't remember how) they gained independence from Knull. They went from looking like blades, to turning into humanoid forms. They went back to the forge and made a planet out of themselves to imprison Knull. (It would be a small de-facto group that made up the evil symbiotes like Venom, Carnage, and a few others. Most symbiotes are actually peaceful beings that want to love and preserve life. Hence their imprisonment of knull who wanted to destroy it.)

Could the infinity stones also be used to stop the spreading darkness the celestials talk about? Or is the darkness coming from outside the universe? We've seen how infinity stones can work across timelines and in the dark dimension, just not in TVA. Also yes I know the stones don't and aren't meant to exist anymore in the MCU, just *what if*
Note: using infinity stones will damage or even kill the user depending on the largeness of the task the infinity stones have to do (and if the infinity stones accept the user or not, especially soul stone). A human using all 6 stones would kill them. That's what I meant, did the Thanos snap even wipe half of the celestials? Most of the Avengers will slowly shift to their own stand-alone series since they won't be useful against these dudes.

Wasn’t Knull the one cut off a celestial’s head? With his sword?

  • @LunamPuer
    @LunamPuer Před rokem +1

The severed head, according to comics, is from the fight between Knull, the God of Symbiotes and the celestials. After cutting off it's head, Knull used it to forge a sword known as Allblack.

In some ways, with having the Eternals & the Celestials existing within the MCU, it really makes Thanos look like an anti-hero.... BUT his death is still completely justified due to his aggressive dictatorship.

The head of the celestial was severed by the King of Symbiotes aka Knull
His first mention was in thor: god of thunder #6 and his full appearance wasn't till august 2018 (Venom vol. 4 #3 if im guessing it right), and oh my i'm telling u, I lost my mind over that!
Definitely give it a read and great work by Donny Cates

There should have indications or Easter eggs throughout the previous movies. Like what was done in Supergirl with J'onn J'onnz till the character was revealed in later episodes. This would have raised fans curiosity to create a better understand about who they are in this movie.

Nope nope nope nope. Its the sword of blacknight called the ebony blade and defenitly not big enough to even hurt a small celestial since they are bigger than planets. The sword you mean is the all black wich the god of symbiotes used to behead a celestial.

Knull, creator of the symbiotes like Venom and Carnage, was the one that killed the Celestial "Nowhere". Once he cut off its head he used the power of the Celestials internals to temper his sword and create the Symbiote race in order to fight the Celestials. They are sworn enemies
