This is wonderful for someone who is starting out. I feel great knowing I don't have to spend hundreds to get started. Very good instructions for "normal" non-clay artists.

Hi this is really useful! I am doing an eight week course and think ceramics is becoming my new hobby. I was doing the coiling technique last week but our teacher didn’t get us to score and use the glue stuff, we stacked up the coils to make a bowl and then kind of just blend them together with our thumbs. To make the base we made one of the coils into a spiral.

Can you tell me where to purchase the rolling pins & slab guides please? Also what's your most common for thickness for slab work, 1/4", etc.
Thanks so much for your videos. Could I use the slab technique to make my own shower tiles? How would you reccommend glazing and firing for this purpose? Thankyou so much
