Is there any difference in the results between applying underglaze on bisqueware or just unfired clay?
Amei!!!❤
Thank you so much for this! I wanted to join a pottery group but haven’t done pottery since high school. This was a great refresher!

Can glazes be used in eating utensils ex: a mug? And can this be painted on air dry clay?
Thanks so much for your videos. Could I use the slab technique to make my own shower tiles? How would you reccommend glazing and firing for this purpose? Thankyou so much
Glazes can be fired on raw clay that is completely dry. It is different.
How to firing??
Man you didn’t show the bottom of the finished cup after applying the wax smh
Can you fire underglaze and glaze at the same time? What temperature you use then?
Omg your video helped me get refreshed for a quiz to get into a studio 🙏🙏
List the product used for glaze please

Wonderful
Where can I buy these glazes?
How to make the glaze .. please mention the ingredients 😢
You get it online or Amazon
Thank you for this video.
Nice array of tools!
Hi this is really useful! I am doing an eight week course and think ceramics is becoming my new hobby. I was doing the coiling technique last week but our teacher didn’t get us to score and use the glue stuff, we stacked up the coils to make a bowl and then kind of just blend them together with our thumbs. To make the base we made one of the coils into a spiral.
stop glazing
WOW !!!! This video is AMAZING! Thank you very much
Aslaam alaykum Sister jzk for this video. I am a complete begginer in the UK and I found this video very useful, much more useful than my teacher. I saw your Instagram that you are closing the studio. Please leave your existing content and create new ones if you can for us. It's lovely to see another muslim sister who is an expert. This is rare in the UK. May Allah SWT bless you in whatever you do next. If you do carry on creating videos can you please make a 3D masjid? ❤
Thank you for the Video!
love the video! but my problem is, that when I create mugs and fill in hot water, the glaze starts to crack kind of. do you know what I could do to prevent it from breaking?
So helpful! Thank you.
Some of your information is incorrect. As long as the clay is vitrified it’s food safe. Glaze is not necessary for food safety.
Thank you for making it more clear. I've been searching for this information.
You are amazing! Thank you
Perfect video. Thank you!
Hey, amazing video! I was wondering, is there a way to know wether or not a glaze/ underglaze is food safe?
Incredibly informative video. Thank you so much 🙏🏽
What is slip?
Watered down clay
Question about the jar: After you dipped both the body and lid in the glossy glaze, you wiped the bottom of the jar where the wax was so it didn't get stuck to the kiln when the glaze fired. But what about the lid? Were you able to put the lid on the body of the jar when firing, or would they stick together then? Or did you put wax on the bottom of the lid and fire the two pieces not touching, and I just missed that part?
