- It's time to quiet the Mega Moto Mini Bike down a bit. I picked up an RLV B91 muffler/silencer to add to the mini bike. I also decided to put header wrap on the header while I was at it. Before and after the install, I recorded the sound of the exhaust and then play them back to back for a comparison. The audio from the comparisons are completely unedited, minus the fade in and out of the clips.
Parts used:
Muffler kit

If you do not need the whole kit, you can purchase just the muffler

Behind the chain guard where the heat shield bolts up is where I have seen more than one braced.
Thanks for the info!
Good sound quality!
Thanks!
Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you liked it! 👍
Fender removed of course I wanna know if this exhaust fits the mega Moto, rt200/b200
I’m not sure if it fits or not, sorry.
I was having the same problem with my clutch, but I put performance oil on it and it fixed it right up.
I had read about that, but never got around to trying it before buying the torque converter. Thanks for letting me know it works though! Maybe I can bring that clutch back to life a bit.
Not for long if it was grinding like that one I don't imagine.
But wait you will reply and say you're still using it anyway so....
What’s the link to that pipe?
The header is the trumpet header from GoPowerSports.com

The muffler and kit link are in the description of the video, if you need those as well.

what exhaust is this? i’ve been looking for one to fit under my seat for a while

Why would you cut the header support 🤦🏽♂️
I cut it because that was my personal preference. I know they are supposed to mounted differently, but I am not a fan of that way aesthetically. Would it be more rigid the other way, yes, of course. But, the way I did this, the header is still supported a little bit (to itself) and I have been running it this whole time this way with no issues.
What makes you think he needs to follow some rule?ROFL
All it does is hang the header, doesn't matter if it's an inch long if it does the job hehe.
What engine is that
It is a Predator 212cc.
Are you going to spray the sealant on the header wrap?
This header wrap did not come with any type of sealant, so I just wrapped it.
Thanks for 5he reply, I’ve used “ DEI” products and they do say to spray this coating on. But to each their own. Nice vid 👍
@@dt9094 What's the point of the sealer? This is my first time using header wrap, so I had no idea there was any kind of sealer...
@@MikesMiniMotors that’s what they mentioned to me. I guess u don’t have to but it’s like a second skin that kind of glues it together. I’ve used it in a couple of builds and it works. But it kind of finishes the wrap off. 👍
Ah, well thanks for the heads up! I’ll keep that in mind next time I wrap a header.
Where you get your sprocket? And did it make a good difference?
I got the sprocket from GoPowerSports
www.gopowersports.com/split-sprockets-35/
It did make a good improvement when I had my centrifugal clutch, but now that I installed the torque converter, I may need to change it up a bit again.

👍
Oil the clutch bushing. It will fix that.
Thank you for the input! I realized after making this video, that I was just being dumb and didn't think about that. I have since oiled it and it is working good again. I appreciate the comment!
@@MikesMiniMotorsReplace it, it's cooke. ROFL
Is the kei truck yours?! Let's get a walk through on that beast one day!
Yup! That's my truck "Sparky". You can see a quick overview of it in this video:
czcams.com/video/c0ZWdfIkZa8/video.html
I haven't been able to do much to it yet. It has a motor is it that was only put in them for about 10 months, so finding parts for that engine are really hard!
@@MikesMiniMotors sparky is pretty sweet! Sounds like a great candidate for a motor swap to something more reliable! Ev swap would be fun and fit the name well! Not sure how well it would work size wise but a 3cyl diesel Kubota motor would be awesome to see too. Then you could change the name to "smokey"
Haha, those are some good ideas! Of the swapped Kei trucks I have seen, they usually have to cut a hole into the bed of truck for the motor to fit, as the stock motor almost lays on its side to fit under the cab. I am trying to avoid that, as I would like to keep the bed intact and functional and also retain the 4WD.
@@MikesMiniMotors maybe a boxer motor like an EJ22 from a Subaru or a motor and trans from a Honda golding motorcycle?
The boxer motors did come to mind, but I am not sure if it will fit. I think I have a ton of research in my future!!! Haha😆😃😜
Should powder coat that muffler like you did for the license plate mounts you made in a prior video.
I had thought about it, but since it was going to get covered in the header wrap, I was fine with just painting it. Plus, I didn't want to wait as long... haha😆
Lube your clutch lmao
Lol, I realized afterwards that I was just being an idiot and needed to do that... 😆
@@MikesMiniMotors same thing happened to me dude. I started it up and my go kart launched!!! My clutch had gotten stuck when i turned it off. Dude lucky I had a hand on it🤣
@@Carl_wheezer222 Oh, wow! That's crazy! Good thing you had a hand on it! I never had it go that crazy, just enough for it to go forward enough to tip over while idling.
So basically it doesn't do anything lmao
It may be a bit harder to tell from the video, but it did quiet the engine down quite a bit. It is much easier to tell the difference in person.
