They dont think in a way that man do, and using a huge amount of different manipulation strategies like the key stuff. It's been about 10 years since I had Laphroaig.... I remember it tasting like medicine.
It was medecine during the prohibition.
Laphroaig 10 year is a pretty good whisky, I have an open bottle in my cabinet right now. However, it does fall firmly in the 'love it or hate it' category. I once heard it (accurately!) described as, "It may be the ass-kicking you're looking for."
Why shouldn't he be enjoying himself? He has probably been getting frustrated with that women for years, maybe decades, and now she's quietly leaving? Bliss.
Honestly maybe he's got problems but he physically looks like he could do better than what she was physically so hey.. sure he has some good times ahead of him.

I have a bottle of (half left) Lagavulin 16 in my whiskey bar. Pairs very well with a Padron 1926 No. 9 Maduro.
Lagavulin 16 is the most exquisitely balanced scotch i have ever tasted. that being said, sometimes i desire a more prominent peat flavour. i usually go with the 12 then. but i've never tasted a scotch i would descibe as medicine so i assume he is describing peat, i will pick up a bottle of the Laphroaig he is drinking and give it a try in that case.
A FEW MOMENTS LATER - after Googling Laphroaig, yes it appears he was describing the flavour of peat.
