    Great flying. Advantage of the Baby Ape is that spares are cheap. So you can rock as much as you want

    Looks nice! Can't wait to get my Baby Ape, I plan on using it with my Thumb Pro too! What size lipos do you recommend? Also what spare parts? Probably at least props because they will break eventually right? I can't wait for summer, riding my bike and cruising with my drone :)

      I fly with 450-550 mAh batterys. Everything over that tends to be too big to fit even if it could lift the weight (which it easily would). 2S is nice for cruising, 3S packs more punch. Get at least one 2S and one 3S and see for yourself what difference it makes and what you'll prefer :) but Id suggest 450-550 mAh sizes'. Oh and get some good velcro battery straps! Stock one is trash.
      Props are basically essential spare parts. Even a small chip or dent or bend in the blades from hitting a branch or something can cause imbalance which influences flight characteristics. I tend to fly them a bit longer then some other people. I know some guy that basically changes props EVERY flight lol
      Having some spare motors would't be bad as well since they are cheap, like 3$ per motor? I got a handfull.
      Maaaaybe a spare frame or replacement arms. I just broke an arm few days ago and now I have to wait for another arm to arrive.
      I also bought a spare AiO already, because I tend to wreck my quads pretty fast and you never know :D
      I wish you all the best with the Baby Ape and hope you'll have lots of fun with it! :)

      @@Nupid_Stoob I have a few 2s 450?mAh lipos from my Tinywhoop, it seems they will be the only ones have at the start because the charger (ToolkitRC M4P, I want a compact travel setup) isn't available atm. But then I'm gonna get some 550mah ones, and l was thinking about one 750 or even bigger for "long-range"/cruising. but if you say it probably won't fit I'll leave it for now :) And I'll get some spare props!
      Also thank you for the detailed answer!

      @@Nupid_Stoob no wonder you crash it. You really dont give a f id you will hit anything. I had a feel like you had 5 spare drones, so you don't care 😁

      @@kaskalo2 I don't have spare drones, just different drones and spare parts haha :D Just too much fun to send it. And if you don't send it, you won't get it ;) hehe

    Hi, how did you power the Runcam?

    • @Nupid_Stoob
      @Nupid_Stoob  Před rokem

      By soldering the 5V and Ground Wires (from the Plug that came with the Runcam) to open/unused pads on my flight controller. I removed the 2 other wires (TX and RX which could be used to switch recording on/off over Betaflight)
