Zulfikar's character was one of the best written characters throughout this drama. Him being torn between his loyalty to wife and his loyalty to the sultan is portrayed in an epic manner.👌
At the end he found a way to stay loyal to the Sultan and his wife too which is truely an amazing feat.💯👏
It tore me up inside to watch him die, actually because of love and loyalty to three people he gave his heart to. His wife ,the Sultan , and also Izlander.

I can see that Bulbul agha was the only one subordinate who didn't just blindly follow his master.. He used his senses against a potential disaster, and helped those like Kosem and her sons when necessary even though she's the archenemy of his mistress Safiye Sultan to whom he's sworn lifelong loyalty.
He's more like Gul Agha to Hurrem Sultan..😂
Seriously, the fact is on the contrary he was the one who blindly followed safyia for everything either it was poisoning the sultan or killing anyone. He followed her without any questioning always as he was in love with her

Osman would have been a great a brother if it wasn't for Safiye or Mehmet's jealousy and false accusations.
It's really Kosem's fault. Her actions do not lead one to trust her. So, Osman's suspicions were very reasonable. She never corrected Mehmet's actions, and tried to pin the blame on both of them.
No all Murad is great he would be greater than Fatix Mehmet or Suleiman if were not be traumatized.
Poor Mustafa. He was such a sweet child. So sad to see what years of confinement and fear did to him. Heartbreaking.
I know! Ahmed never had the intelligence to rule. Punishing the innocent and letting the guilty go free.
among all the princes of kosem, i could see a sultan like attitude only in murad... When others were thinking just 'bout ascending the throne and having power, little murad was thinking about saving his siblings, he was just rebellious and arrogant towards those aghas just to save his brothers..... He was the real king, i must say....❤️even osman couldn’t show such attitude, being the eldest prince, rather he was just aware of his throne and power by default....
yes murad manage it well but kosem try to control him until she kill her own son and the other son and the other son and the other son ufffffff...so sad ending of her

But kosem was the one who was ready to sacrifice her own children by the name of state, as she had a feel in mind that no one can rule the state better than her.... Subsequently she turned herself from a hero to a villain.... Just for the thurst of power....
in real life murad is one of those powerful and bravest sultan, Osman was a weak the weakest among sultan as well as Mustafa since he is a madman , murad in contrast of Osman he's brave and determined

Iskender should have listen Sulfiker advise and leave, but he decided to stay and try to take the Throne.
He is most certainly the most suitable for the throne and the empire though. He is a battle hardened warrior and he isn't an adolescent, child, or mentally ill unlike the other candidates for the throne. He played the game of thrones and was defeated but he certainly was a strong candidate for the throne otherwise.

Actually, in real life, Mustafa was not actually mad. As a sultan, he would regularly visit naval docks and arsenals. He even planned for a campaign against Safavid Persia who had regained their lands in the 1612 Treaty of Nasuh Pasha. He planned to winter in Konya for the same purpose. It was actually Haci Mustafa Agha who spread this rumours because Mustafa supported an admiral who was an arch enemy of him. This was mainly done in order to depose Mustafa. But by the time of his second reign, he got definitely mad because he was locked up completely, not even allowed to leave his room and sometimes not given food or water for days.
No wonder why his name is the mad sultan

Iskender is a fictionalized version of Count Alexsander of Montenegro, who according to Wikipedia was a pretender to the throne and led several battles to try to take power. I would expect that to become part of the action going forward, based on history. Up until now he has been my favorite character because of his (fictionalized) loyalty. After the way Kosem has treated him, however, I can’t blame him for going over to the dark side because Kosem is getting pretty dark herself. Iskender won’t achieve his goals because he doesn’t take the throne historically, but I’m still glad to see he’s still alive and part of the action. He has as much claim to the throne as any of the other treacherous princes who engage in the deadly winner take all competition.
It was an illogical system that supposedly was to “maintain order” but actually guaranteed chaos and civil war at least once every generation. Absolute insanity. You would think they would have realized that the Sultan having dozens of concubines and producing so many extra princes to be slaughtered by the winner was cruel and counterproductive. All for the Sultan’s selfishness in bedding so many concubines and producing sons to prove their virility. This was the Sultan catering to his ego without giving a thought to the mandated slaughter of those sons by law. Celebrating the birth of each son while ignoring that all but one will be slaughtered-insanity!

Safiye had countless times to destroy her. The most powerful enemy and dangerous is Safiye, the luck wasn”t with her no matter what she did. :D*

Iskender should have left when he was told to, but instead he decided to stay and fight for the Throne thinking that his mother would help him to achieve it. He got to big for his boots. Kosem was the most powerful Sultana of the Ottoman Empire ever. Safyie Sultana power at this point was nothing compared to Kosem power, and she'll prove it from here on until she tries to kill her grandson in order to old on to power, and that was her biggest mistake, cause she over estimated herself and underestimated her daughter- in law. And that was her spectacular down fall
