Also - would you recommend an omega 3 supplement to vegans? I consume flax and chia seeds, but it's my understanding that the conversion rate to DHA in the body might not be sufficient?
I have also been trying to get my family into a plant based whole grain diet. Down to only one meat recipe a week. Thank you so much for your video and the recipe ideas. As I say at the end of my videos, "Be heathy and keep on cooking". :-)
@@cheezheadz3928 Yep, you are correct. Just trying to get my thoughts out too quick I guess. Ha. Still new to this CZcams thing. My husband (Who has the channel called ResslerMania) is trying to help me out as much as he can. But I will eventually get there. :-)
Nothing wrong with eating canned beans or legumes, they're preserved to keep them from going bad. It's also easier for a lot of people to digest the canned ones. :) That it's in a can doesn't mean it's processed!
This is a convenient introduction for the short time. Not half bad.
Thanks for this video! Always looking for more plant based inspiration. :)

Got it!!
What about hemp seeds?
Honey is extracted from honey comb
This is a good video but if I want to be healthy I would not eat anything from a can.

@@MariaT-95 uhh no food that comes from a can is definately processed...but no hard feelings.
@@elizabethrodriguez7363 oh dear, I ment that it's processed to be in a can doesn't mean it's bad! I don't know where my head was at :)
@@MariaT-95 I'm sure can means no nutrients indeed
Lucrecia Garino sorry?
whole foods lol just about everything on the video is processed lmao
But the honey is not a vegan food
and definitely not a plant
It IS a plant, as it comes from nature and not a lab. Plant based doesn't mean vegan.
