    Day 9: Haitian Akra (Fritters)
    2 Malanga
    1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
    Scotch bonnet pepper Diced (Optional)
    Seasonings
    Salt and pepper to taste
    Pinch of Maggie
    1 Teaspoon of Haitian Epis
    1/4 Teaspoon of season salt
    1/4 Teaspoon of Complete seasoning
    1/4 Teaspoon of Adobo All Purpose Seasoning

    I knew I heard properly. You said Yucca and this is Yautia also called malanga. Huge difference please let people know. This recipe rocks. Try adding some flour or corn starch. Then you will see these bad boys grow wings and fly.

      Depending where you from ! Malanga is just slightly sweeter

      its made with yautia also known as Malanga not yucca which is called manyok in creole. two different things, two different outcomes. betterto use box grater instead of food processor

    I think she said yucca which it's not. Don't make that mistake. It's malanga also called yutia in the grocery stores. They come in yellow, white, and red.
