Why our politicians can’t act like is beyond me...well no it isn’t...they act out for themselves because they have to scramble to get re-elected and fund raise as often as they do. In part! Makes me further support publicly funded campaigns to insulate our policy makers from having to grovel to donation sources.

Just like when we suddenly left Viet Nam and thousands from the opposition were murdered. Trump could care less about anyone but himself and making more money. He listened to the dictator of Turkey asking him to get out of Syria so he could get rid of the Kurds. We would had lost many of our brave soldier's had not the Kurds assisting our military. So, you have it wrong, as a Democrat I am against war not against saving the life of those who have helped us.

As far as republicans go today, Christie should be the standard up there with Kasich. Emphasis on Republicans.
At least from what we see on screen too of course

Christie requires an extreme wide angle camera position- and still he takes up my whole monitor.

As a Pro-Bernie, all-my-life-progressive, I still have something of a soft spot for Chris Christie. I can't defend it, reasonably I should hate him. I would support John Kasich or Jeb Bush more based on policy, experience, or temperament. But it's there and I can't explain it.

Winston Sullivan I feel with you so much, I think it has 2 reasons: 1. He is just a great actor and deep down in his heart he must be a likeable guy, 2. The conversation isn’t rly about politics, ultimately he just tries to sell his book. Just my oppinion

John Kasich should've been running up against Bernie in 2016, truly. This country was done a disservice that it didnt happen.
Jeb Bush would've been horrific though, 9-11 all over again.

With friends like Christy, you certainly wouldn't need enemies. It's good to be self- deprecating, and it's always good to have conversations with people you don't agree with, but it seems like Christy's attitude harbours a few sour grapes. You dont just make up convenient talking points according to who your audience is- you're either someone's friend, or not.
