This tax bill rearranged things a bit for the average person but the real tax break is to corporations(35% reduced to 21%) who are mostly owned by wealthy people. Corporations used most of the tax break to buy back their stock.

Bill Maher has entertained me for years now, but CHRIST it gets under my skin when he has conservative guests on. Not because they’re conservative, but because of the way Bill constantly badgers them to say anything repugnant about Trump. It’s like these other people want to talk real politics and all Bill wants is sensationalism. He did the same thing to Ben Shapiro when he came on as a guest. These are the spots on the show to set aside the snarky quips and infantile strawmen and have a real conversation with those on the other side of the fence, I think at least.
