I didn't know much about Elizabeth Warren before this video, but I'm definitely going to do some more research on her. She just might have my first presidential (I was 17 in the 2016 election) vote for 2020 if she decides to run!

Now that's thick skin, Bill Maher calling Warren Pocahontas to her face and she just took it without any comment.
People who dismiss her for not supporting Bernie are pretty stupid imo. It's a mark against her for sure, but a slight one. Warren is someone who has to walk a very thin line, being progressive but also part of the money-making machine that is the democratic party. Her options are limited by her position, but she's an ally for sure. It was a near sure thing Hillary was going to beat Bernie. Warren could have alienated herself from the party she's in for the off chance that her endorsement could push Bernie towards a win. Or she could, rather weakly, endorse Clinton and position herself for a possible powerful office within the administration (perhaps this was also indicated by the Clinton team). And in that case, if Bernie did win anyway she would still have a good chance of gaining influence. Warren works within the parameters of the dem. party and the electoral system. You're not going to find a lot of people like Bernie there. But you would be crazy to not support someone like her when she is clearly better then most democrats. Voting should not be an emotional affair, its a rational choice for the best option. If you are so intent on voting your conscious you might as well just vote for yourself: you'll be sure to have no disagreements and you'll achieve around the same level of change

And recall, she unambiguously declared the DNC rigged the 2016 primaries for Clinton, then almost immediately quadruple backflipped on that when the DNC pushed back......reminder, the former DNC CHAIR stated flat-out it was rigged (and anyone with more than two molecules between their ears could see it anyway.) THEN, more recently she (of the "anti-corruption crusader") said she would not allow her VPs children to serve on foreign corporate boards (soft corruption)......then almost instantly backflipped.

What is more relevant to me about this interview is how incredibly BRILLIANT she is, ESPECIALLY on economic matters. Her books describe insanely complicated business and economic matters in a way that is so straightforward and frank that the average person fully grasps what’s being analyzed. The way she communicates is a gift, and if she runs (and dear GOD, I hope she runs), people will be shocked by the coalition behind her, because it’s been bubbling for years.
And PS, she already has phenomenal bills written and ready to go! If Dems control the House, Senate and White House, her anti-corruption and accountable capitalism bills would be the first thing she’d pass within her first week.
THANK YOU! Her legislation is ready to launch at noon on DAY ONE to end decades of accelerated wealth inequality, wage stagnation, executive greed, $0 rich and corporate tax payments, deregulation, environmental destruction, unimpugned big tech/pharma/fossil fuel/banks, Citizen's United, +++ . She has a plan to recalibrate and/or remove every inequity in our democratic republic.
She wants everyone (regardless of gender, race, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, income, education, etc.) to have the same opportunity to succeed in America. She has finely tuned policy solutions to achieve these goals. Fair is fair as far as Senator Warren is concerned. And I'll persist w/her straight through her presidential inauguration.
I predict another very powerful interview with Warren in the next 6 months as Warren climbs in the polls She is currently the strongest Democratic voice out there!

Where was this talk during the campaign? This is exactly what Bernie campaigned on. Where was her support then? It's easy to get fired up now, she should have done it when it could have made a difference.

The problem with her is that she's like most other groomed politicians. You like her policies and you'll defend her to the grave I'm sure, but she never answers tough questions and always diverts to an emotional response. It ultimately comes off as dishonest and insincere, regardless of the actual policy, and that hurts a candidate like her during an election. People who criticize her policies or ask tough questions are dismissed as trolls, dump trump supporters, etc. and it makes the democrats look intellectually weak.
