    This comment is meant to be informative and not criticism. My education (Mech Eng) along with years of experience taught me that when metal to metal is involved and a lock washer (in the kit) is supplied, then the use of anti-seize should be applied and not Locktite for the threads. This was confirmed when I removed the stock bolts and found anti-seize on the ends of the bolts. Then, as always the torque spec does apply here. Being exposed to the elements is another consideration. There are highly skilled, untrained professionals who will argue the frequency of removal theory. However, the lock washer in this case neutralizes the argument for the application for determining which of the two opposing compounds (adhesive/lubricant) should be used. Subscribed and continued success!

    Bought those for my Electra Glide. Unfortunately the one on the right hand side had an electrical failure. I sent one mail to Ciro3D and they sent me a replacement unit free of charge, even though they had to send it to Germany. Great customer support by Ciro3D as well. Now everything is working nicely and looking better than before.

    Hey brother !! Yep love the ciro products, I especially love the fork covers you just installed, problem is they don't make um to fit a TriGlide !?!? you would think they would make for that model everyone wants to light up their trike !! I sent them a suggestion about a year ago asking them to come up with it ! Maybe you have some influence with them lol. Anyway another great video and our days are getting numbered here in Illinois, ride on brother !

    Just an fyi....if you have the Advanblack wrap fender the fender bolts from Advan Black aren't long enough to work with the fork cover. You need to buy 4 sockethead capscrew bolts- 5/16-18 x2 3/4". Home depot has them. The fit is perfect after that. Love these on my bike!

    looks good, but adding all of these lights, what about the BCM in the new 2021 models, won't all the lights impact the BCM?

    • @sikbaggers
      @sikbaggers  Před 2 lety

      Why would led lights impact a bcm any different on a 21 than 14 to 20? The bcm is the same for 14 up . It can auto learn for led. Ignition on. Turn on hazards. Ignition off. Let the hazards run for 3 to 5 minutes. Ignition on. Hazard off . Ignition off. Ignition back on. Led draw way less power than a incandescent bulb...you can add a shit ton of leds to your bike with no issues. I would start with your turn signals and headlight if they aren't already led.

      @@sikbaggers appreciate the info, your videos are awesome and while i was hesitant in the beginning t take thing off my 2021 SGS, your vids gave me the confidence to do it. changed out all of the signals to the Ciro Fang stuff, changed the headlight to the Adaptive Daymaker, changed the brake added the triple bar light, added ciro saddlebag lights and also ciro batwing trim lights. You are awesome!

    What’s up Steve another great video!
    Have a question for you about Ciro & the warranty on them.
    I bought the headlight fang for my 15 street glide & where the screw goes in on the bottom cracked and broke a 2” inch chunk the first hour of the bike ride. Is that my fault on installing the screw or would it be there’s?
    Just wondering haven’t done anything yet but put electrical tape to keep it from shaking apart more

    I ride a Road King CLASSIC. Led lighting on a classically styled bike sounds like a miss match. I like the classic look and modern led lighting just wouldn't work for me. I rarely ride at night so that bonus of brighter isn't as important to me. They are more visible in day light to but I just can't do it to to this bike. My next bike maybe

    Steve, great video as always. Question: what brand motorcycle lift is that you're using? I'm interesrted in buying a motorcycle lift but haven't made a selection yet. I wanted one that has the front wheel and rear wheel panels that can be removed when I desire to remove the wheels. In advance, thanks and thank you for such informative videos. 👍🏽🤠 8/6/223

      @@sikbaggers Thanks, Sreve. I loved the the Sturgis trip I took years ago with a group of fellow Marines. We rode to Sturgis from NC in about 3 days and stayed a week, then did a 3 day return ride. Coming back, we all took seprate routes and had an exciting time. I bet you had fun at Sturgis. Thanks for the motorcycle table lift info. I've looked at so many different lifts that it was a bit overwhelming. I looked at the APlus lifts as well while internet shopping. Okay brother, thanks again and I'll see you in one of your next vids. 👍🏽🤠 8/16/23
