    I owned R6, cbr1000rr and now 23 Ducati v4R, never looked back to Japanese motorcycles. The power, performance, top quality/highend motorcycle and the look is the best look! Like I said never looked back to Japanese bikes

      Well, the ducati being ferrari of motorcycles comes pre VW (2012) and Lambo editions (2021). So originally it is ferrari of motorcycles (italian and red). Ducati being Lambo of motorcycles is very new when looking at history of ducati.

    I 100% agree with you about the whole Ducati lineup is a rather attractive lineup. I'm not an adventure bike person and the Multi looks pretty good, but I really like all the other motorcycles that Ducati is pumping out right now.

    @dreambiggermoto You gave so much to unpack. I have been the owner of a retired race 888 SP5 since 1999. I did a full restoration and converted it to street use. You talk about problems that I have never seen. In the first 7-8 years I put 19k on my Duc. My engine was supposed to have the valve adjustments every 1500 miles. Well long as I was not spinning it to redline I found every 8k worked great. The key thing I learned is find that non dealership shop that is amazing. I use to go to Nichols sports bikes in the Bay Area. They made the dealership look like first graders with a wrench. Talk about outcast that was and still is me on my 888(with other Duc owners). Funny I prefer taking my 888 over the 1199 R. Yes it is slower but as I only ride them on the street I can use all the power. I have not seen or had non Duc owners give me any vibes. If they did I had not noticed. I also show interest in any bike that other people are on. Can guess there are squids that feel insecure yet it could also be I am in my 50s. I remember right before buying my first Duc and non Duc owners saying, it is going to drain your wallet. Well good I did not listen to them as that was total BS. Yes it is not a Japanese bike in just put gas in it and change the oil. I also have found great friendships with Duc owners of the same model(888, 1199R, Desmosedici). Think it has also to do with where you live. Found the Bay Area(Northern California) it has shifted to who has the newest and greatest. Non if any can ride around a corner or have a clue what sliding a knee feels like. I own the bikes I do for me. I could not give a flying F what someone else thinks. Just my limited experience with Duc's

    I have a good friend who works for Ducati corporate: They actually dislike and distance themselves from the Ducati/Ferrari comparison. I equate Red/Red for both. marques; it turns out that neither Ferrari or Ducati have specific red trade marked. Your featured 950SP has a much different tone of red from the 2021-22 model. I dislike it so much for its noncommittal red tone that I did an entire body panels with on my bike. I left the trellis frame as is because it is downplayed, and it's now one of perhaps 3 things that are stock.

    • @DreamBiggerMoto
      @DreamBiggerMoto  Před 3 měsíci

      Yes this new red is on the new Ducati models and it has a hint of orange in it. I think everyone has mixed opinions about it. 😅

    I have a Kawasaki z900, yes its a simple 4 cilinder. But with a full exhaust and tune, that thing puts a smile on my face and its really fast. All that fun for just 11k euro’s. On top of that, I’ve ridden 30k miles and never had any issue whatsoever.. just oil and filter changes by myself and you are ready to abuse the hell out of it 😅

      Amazing bike. But I think v twin vs inline 4 is so different it scratches different itches. I got a gsxs1000 and its an amazing bike that does everything a hypermotard can do. But the design, sound and just x factor of the hypermotard for me made me buy the duc. But Im keeping my Suzuki too.

    What’s kinda funny is that superiority complex your speaking of in regards to Ducati enthusiasts, the way you come off in this video kinda proves it lol. And that fact of Ducati being the Ferrari in the motorcycle world, MV actually fits that criteria much better in regards to exclusivity and sheer art, but awesome bikes nonetheless.

    • @k1mura92
      @k1mura92 Před 3 měsíci +1

      I feel mv Agusta is kinda like alfa Romeo. Kinda rare, not a lot of racing pedigree, focus on unique and beautiful design. Ferrari and Ducati both sells at high volume relatively speaking and puts performance on streets and on track highly. I agree tho that mv Agustas are seriously performance oriented bikes

    But nobody hates Ducati owners, actually (I noticed it myself, at least here where I live) Ducati owners really think are better than others :D
