Yes, I got the new axle that has the ABS cog rig that you see on the outer joint. The ABS ring did not contact the knuckle. The fitment issue was due to the shape of outside joint near the spindle. As you see in the video, that fitment issue was resolved when I removed ring on the knuckle.
So were there different (abs vs non-abs) versions of these CVs and you happened to get shipped the abs-type axles?
