Why does Thor keep saying JJ brought Michigan back against Alabama down by double digits? They never trailed by more than a 7 in a back and forth game. I’ve seen him repeat this on like 3 different shows as evidence of JJ’s ability to take command of an offense.
He clearly doesn’t know that managing a game is not taking command of an offense.

I view McCarthy like Purdy. He's solid. He can be really good, MAYBE great with unreal weapons. But without those high end options I don't see a top tier QB.

The 1st round WR bust rate stat is taken from 2000-2019. The 1st round WR hit rate the last 5-10 years has been way higher. Either way, there's plenty of really good to elite WR's found in the middle rounds
Blake Corum gives off David Montgomery vibes. Strong, smart, good vision, and can make solid cuts to get a few extra yards… not very fast but is capable of breakaway runs.

I use to love Colin!! After listening to him and nick Wright my opinion has changed. He is very knowledgeable at betting line, especially college football but him and nick just talk about how well they are doing. It's okay to be proud of your accomplishments but to go on and on just come off conceded

As a Pats fan i want NO part of JJ. I think he'll be solid! Alex Smith, Brock Purdy type. In the AFC u need special to win. Is Maye more likely to bust? Maybe, but I'd rather take the home run swing.

Love Tahj Washington. Been callin him my sleeper of the draft. And ppl will call me crazy but my player comp is Marvin Harrison, the original Marvin Harrison.
Harrison was taller but the build is similar, Tahj runs great routes and just like Harrison not only is he always open but he doesnt take big hits. Always gets down before the defender can lay him out, which was the calling card of Harrison

Colin, I’m a long term fan going back to your ESPN days. Heard your show today and your issue regarding sleep. Get yourself a set of 15 pound dumbbells, 20 pounds maybe. I recommend 15. While you are watching tv, sitting on the sofa, commit to doing 200 curls with each arm. Start off, alternating between arms, doing sets of 5. Use good technique. This can be done within 30 minutes once you get adjusted. I guarantee you will sleep better. It certainly works for me. Try it. If you don’t use, and I understand why you would not, real sleeping pills that other crap is not that effective. Good luck!

only play you need to watch to evaluate Corum is the overtime TD run against Bama. the jump cut at the hand off to completely make a fool of their LB is absolute beauty and extremely athletic. kid is a beast.

your (miss rate) is miss leading because teams don't want/need to sign a receiver on a second contract due to the fact they can get one the following year on a rookie contract. they can also get a receiver in the second or third round that are REAL GOOD

Grading a QB prospect based on if they won in college is the most irrelevant and useless way to evaluate. Josh Allen didn’t win, mahomes didn’t win, Lamar won the heisman but lost 3-4 games every year. Mac jones won, Zach Wilson won. I don’t think there’s any correlation between winning in college and how good you are in the NFL. It should be purely off of game tape, measurables, etc. I don’t think winning in college has anything to do with how good you are in nfl
You can build a Superbowl winner from the AFC north. That division has everything you need.
I've watched you all for quite a while and funny how you didn't get all those guys that were misses. I bet you liked Young last year? I saw nothing there and still bet he will be nothing. Yes McCarthy was never asked to carry the load but made big throw after big throw when asked which can be even harder when you haven't in the last quarter. The top four guys and Penix have way more tools to work with then the top pick last year. And yes Stroud had one of the most natural throwing motions in a long time this I hated watching our most talented Buckeyes go to Houston but at least their young coach new how to use him. Zach Wilson was also a very natural throwing motion but had never been able to put it together with his lack of understanding of the game. CJ always had that. Maybe Sean Payton will be able to help him. The situation a young QB goes matters almost as much as his talent like you mentioned with Minnesota this year.
JJ did see the field more, but looking at just last year, his play on the field was Mark Sanchez to a goddamn T. Exactly like his lone year starting at USC. Yet, Mark was at the lone college program that was truly treated as a professional one. So he had a huge amount of tangibles inside the locker room and off the field. Something that JJ doesn't possess on the same level(i mean, the dude still started at fcking Michigan, no small deal)... *As a Chargers fan, hopefully Minnesota trades both 1st picks and Jim picks up the best available OT and later the best DL on the board.
Colin is wrong, JJ is a good prospect. I think KOC wants him more than Maye. Patriots are trying to squeeze draft picks, so Minny will more than likely try something with the Chargers.
Unless this is the 1983 draft 2.0 the 5th yr option won’t be picked up on 4 of the top 6 QBs this year. It’s math…unless again this yr is the exception that proves the rule.

I just think the way he framed it to be a “criminalized” narrative vs a “maturity” issue is my thing. Maturity issues can be fixed with the right coaching staff and leadership amongst the players around him. Getting arrested and hanging out with thugs and hoodlums, making bad decisions etc doesn’t get better in the league.
Good Luck with this one Colin. Thor is pretty sunk in on McCarthy. Great arm. But he is definitely not the QB for Justine Jefferson. JJ relies on his body control and attacking the ball in the air. McCarthy throws rockets to WR who get separation in open spaces. That doesn't happen consistently in the NFL unless your Tyree Hill.

If I was AZ I’d trade down again this year with Vikings… and grab another first round pick.. Yes you pass on Marvin Harrison JR but you get have there first rounders total.. and you can fix you your team… at 11 you get OT from Oregon state and you can draft a good Wr at 23 like Brian Thomas and at 27 you go defense..

I am with Colin I don't see it playing with Michigan but harbaugh may have limited him . Joe burrow left Ohio St for LSU to become the quarterback he can be . Maybe JJ has that potential but if all we had on burrow was a backup at Ohio State or a starter that was restricted he may have not have the opportunity in the NFL but he has been pounded .
